About this item

  • Air Recovery Boots: The ManaEZ air cast offers mobility, protection, and support for daily activities while recovering from a variety of ankle and foot injuries, including sprain, broken foot, and stable fractures of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. To ensure you receive the correct-fitting orthopedic boot, reference the Mens and Womens size chart in the images.
  • Stimulates Natural Gait: Our CAM walker boot is designed with a rocker foot bottom that allows you to walk naturally with minimal bulk. The cushioned insole absorbs shock to prevent fatigue while the cast padding promotes proper ankle immobilization to prevent further injury as you heal.
  • Tall Walking Boot With Maximum Support: The tall, reinforced plastic shell is supported with molded uprights to protect the leg, foot, and ankle. When fastening, the professional-grade velcro can be customized for fit to ensure the hard boot stays secured.
  • Universal Foot Boot: The ManaEZ Boot Air cast for foot can be worn on both the left and right foot. For ultimate comfort as you recover, each aircast boot also features a long and wide toe bed design. There’s plenty of room for bandaged or swollen feet, making it the ideal after surgery boot.
  • Pneumatic Pump For Custom Compression: Unlike regular medical boots for foot injuries, the ManaEZ foot boot features an air bladder embedded in the boot liner to help control swelling and secure fit. The easy-to-use, 2-step valve and bulb system prevents air from leaking when locked, and makes it easier to remove air when released. Do not over-inflate aircells.

Boot fits well and is lightweight. I purchased this boot as a second boot to sleep in at night because I was instructed by my dr to sleep in the boot he gave me. that’s just gross to track everyday life into bed. This boot serves that purpose well but in comparison to the one from the doctor it is very flimsy and not as supportive. I don’t believe it would provide the same level of healing support if I tried to use it all day.

Ok, so here's the deal - you may want to read this review before you buy this medical boot as it may help you decide if this boot is a good option for you! 🙂My background so you can understand where I'm coming from...unfortunately I broke my heel (calcaneus) a few years ago and ever since have had ankle (subtalar joint) problems and use a medical boot usually in the evenings and when I sleep. I wear the BioSkin TriLok Ankle Brace every day all day long and then typically switch over to the medical boot in the evenings. This means I have worn a lot of braces, medical boots, orthotics, heel lifts, and various other products over the last few years to try and figure out what works best for me and to try to get me enough steps to get through the day.The purchase of this medical boot is to replace the United Ortho USA14107 Air Cam Walker boot that I wore out. Haha probably should upload pictures to show that the straps and inside lining are literally falling apart on it because I have used it so much (it held up really well)...but since it is another product that is probably a bad idea. 🚫--- Pros ---Let's 1st start with the pros of this medical boot and what got me to try switching: 👏1. Liked that it is a full boot but a little shorter so it has more of a gap between my leg and my knee2. Liked that is has a rounded bottom as that tends to help the walking motion3. Liked the texture on the bottom as we have ice / snow in my area of the US4. Liked that is has larger thicker straps as they tend to hold up longer5. Liked that the air pump is lower profile so it works ok with a knee scooter - not amazing but ok6. Liked the price as it is much cheaper than the medical boots offered by my orthopedic surgeon7. Liked that the brace straps are integrated in to the support columnsSo a lot going for it right!? 💯Well there have been a couple major flaws that caused me to have to return this boot and go back to the slightly larger United Ortho one. 😕--- Cons ---Here are the flaws - not nearly as many (a good thing) but unfortunately they tend to be more substantial deal breakers: 🤪1. Since there are only 2 straps - it doesn't distribute weight as good as the 3 strap boots meaning I can feel more pressure on my ankle / foot area when walking2. Because there are only 2 straps the lining moves constantly and you can hear the lining scraping against the velcro on the support braces3. Because the two braces are integrated in the support braces they cannot be moved, their placements results in a large gap at the bottom of the boot between the lowest leg brace and the highest foot brace. Found that because of that my foot did NOT stay secured against the back of the brace as well as the other 3 strap brace and it tended to float a little forward when sitting down...movement on your foot like that could cause significant pain if you have an active break! So really it boils down to some of the brace's pros actually causing itself some design cons. Again I'm pretty deep in to these foot problems (am trying to avoid an ankle fusion + bone graft for as long as possible) so you may not be as concerned about those pros. 👨‍⚕️If those pros do not concern you - then this boot is a solid option as it has a lot of nice features and the quality of the materials makes it seem like it should be much more money...it is genuinely a good value from that perspective. It is also a little more comfortable to walk in because of the arched bottom and slightly shorter stalk so it doesn't travel quite as far up your leg as many of the other 3 brace boots.So...think over those pros and cons and see what is important to you - unfortunately the cons ended up being a deal breaker for me - but there's a chance - depending on what your ankle / foot issue is that it could work fine for you. 🙂Hopefully that gives you enough perspective to make an informed decision - this was a tough boot to return and even tougher to try and articulate why I had to pass on it! 🤷

This immobilizing boot has been extremely helpful in protecting a loved one's broken foot, at a fraction of the cost when purchased from a doctor's office ($200±). It does take a few tries to understand how to put it on and properly route the straps, but once you learn that, it's easily incorporated into your morning routine. It weighs roughly ~2.5 lbs, is well built and protective, and holds your food steadily and comfortably when pumped up. Would highly recommend this to those suffering and recoving from fractured or broken foot/ankle bones!

I love this boot! I had foot surgery last year on my right foot and didn’t think anything about the cost when I got it from my doctor (to be billed by my insurance). So, when I got my co-pay, it was $98 out of my pocket and my insurance billed $800 (if I remember right). The boot started falling apart after 3 days; the Velcro came off, the boot was not wide enough to keep my floor protected and I threw the boot away as soon as I didn’t need to wear it anymore. Recently, I had surgery on my left foot and prior to the surgery I got smart and checked with Amazon. The boot cost me a pittance compared to the first one and is extremely well-made and protects my foot well. My doctor told me to order a long, large size which I did. I have big feet for a woman, but the long was to protect the whole area of foot and leg both. This is an extremely well-constructed product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an orthopedic boot, with aerodynamic heel and inexpensive. You can’t go wrong with this boot. It has multiple Velcro straps and after 3 weeks of use, the Velcro is still ALL INTACT!

I have a compression. Wound on my foot. My Doctor recommend getting one of these boots. This one appeared to be a good 1, and at first it was, I've had 2 of them. The first one lasted about a month. Before it stopped holding air. The second one didn't even make it 2 weeks before it quit holding air, making it to where you're constantly having to pump them up. I called the company and asked what their lifespan should be and was told the life of your Injury. I was told to contact the company to see if we could resolve this problem before making a return. The company told me they just make the boot. The returns and sales are not their problem. If your injury requires an air cast that stays aired up do not get this one.
