Bought it 10 months ago, small one broke. Going with a cheaper brand to see how long that one lasts. If that fails fast, I’ll see if changing bearings or something helps and giving benefit of the doubt. I’ll give another review if I ever determine something that helps it last longer, but I generally keep my chlorine levels low.It was my first one from this brand, it’s not bad for the price even if it did break after a year.

After about 5 months of use, the cleaner being on a few hours a day, the belt broke. It did its job so I can’t hate it, just wish it had a bit more durability.

Polaris now works and saving $$$ by not hiring a pool guy to vacuum my pool!

Our Polaris 360 wheels quit turning after 22 years! I decided to take it apart, though the wife said we would need to buy a new one. 😩 The long belt driving the wheels was frayed. Replaced both belts with the ones purchased from Amazon. Now back in service for another 20+ years, hopefully!

I haven't used them long enough to knw about durability. They seem sturdy and the price was half what they sell for at my local pool supply chain. A little difficult to replace but I've become pretty good about breaking the Polaris apart. If you own one then you need to be confident enough to take it apart and put it back together. You'll save a fortune in the long run doing your own repairs.

For those happy with this belt, I'm happy for you. My experiences with this belt, even with new wheels which include new belt drive wheels, and new axles and careful alignment and careful tensioning is that they last from one week to ten days. I've gone through four or five sets of these. Will try the factory Polaris belts. If they break, then something is wrong with my vac, but I seriously doubt it. I will report back and update this review.Update: After installing a Polaris Brand set of belts, they both are working properly after about six weeks of constant service. They cost more, but the 'non-Polaris' brands are just not worth the effort. Apparently, when dealing with these brands, you get what you pay for.
