Perfect fit, easy to install. Restored our Maxx to the beast it was in its younger days!

The rebuild kit is a Polaris Maxx OEM kit. No aftermark crap. All fits and works as advertised.Generally I am disappointed in how quickly these parts wear out. I run my cleaner every night for about 8 hrs. The drive gears on this unit strip easily and have to be replaced annually at a cost of around $150. Considering the bot itself only cost $350 new on sale, seems to be a scam Polaris/Zodiac is running to make customers keep having to buy replacement parts.

Expensive but rebuilt the unit abd works like new. While pricy still about 1/3 cost of new unit. Recommend.

The parts went it without issue. My only problem is that I only want the rubber gears for the wheels. I did not feel as if I needed a whole kit. But since that is the only way you can buy the rubber gears for now, I changed it all out. Instructions were clear and I had zero problems.

I bought this rebuild kit to hopefully fix my sluggish Polaris Atlas, XT pool cleaner. My pool cleaner was not moving about as swiftly as it once did and it quit climbing the walls as it once did, I was a bit hesitant on buying this rebuild kit because of the price, but it was way cheaper than buying a new pool cleaner. I am so glad that I bought it and it was not very challenging to install because of the great instructions. Most importantly, my pool cleaner now operates as it did when it was brand new, moving about swiftly And climbing the walls with these.

After about two years of every day use my Polaris MAXX just wasn't doing the job. After talking to the rep at my neighborhood pool supply store where I bought the cleaner, he said "your cleaner probably just needs a tune up." He suggested that I bring it in to have a tech check it out and if a tune up is all it needs then we can do the tune up here." Well, I told him that they were "crazy", once he told me what the price was to do the work. Parts plus labor & tax was $384.16, I said no way! The next option was to buy a kit and do the tune up myself but of course it would have to be ordered. The kit wasn't cheap and waiting two weeks for it wasn't going to happen either. So I thanked him and said, "I'm going home to look on Amazon to see what I can find there" and so I did. The kit consists of OEM parts, and comes with very good instructions on how to change out the old parts and install the new ones. I feel the kit's price is still a bit on the high side but they are of high quality which gives me confidence that it will be at least another two years before having to do the next tune up.
