This works really well. I've used the same one for the past two years. The same magnet has working on the back of my phone the whole time as well and the magnet on the clip is very strong. I use it for navigation and filming videos. It can wear down your vent flap if you're having to take it off frequently.

I have gotten many of these, I keep giving them to family and friends. Keeps your phone within eye sight without having to look down like the phone cup holders! Strong magnet to keep phone in place. I actually keep extras on hand to give for gifts, especially for someone who does a lot of traveling or driving!

The holder works well, I feel the marketing is misleading. I was under the impression that my phone would just naturally stick to the magnet well. My phone (Pixel 8a) does stick to it, but not enough to stop it falling off. Even if I remove the case from my phone, the weight of the phone will pull it off the magnet before long. The product comes with thin magnets like the one pictured in my review, recommending you either place it between your phone and your case, or stick it on with a sticker that they also supply. This is very effective for using the holder but I don't know how I feel about always having this magnet on my phone.
