Love it so far. The magnet on this is strong. The updated metal arm is sturdy and it's actually tough to move around.The tape to stick it down is pretty damn sticky n works well so far.I looked at all the designs of these mag mounts and this seems to work the best. I've had ball style mounts before and was very disappointed in the strength of them. So the less parts the better.

It looks great and has many options to position but, but... the magnet is too strong! I'm afraid it's gonna come off specially in those coming hot summer days because the whole base of the mount moves when I'm trying to get my phone. I even put a sticker over the magnet on the phone but still, its hard to retrieve. The thing Is that I think the full circle of the holder is made out of magnet. I don't know what I'm gonna do but I don't like the fact that I have to be careful to place the phone on a way that it's not hard too hard to pull. I have to use both hands to remove it carefully or slide ot down but I end up hitting my radio knobs most of the time. Now if I'm driving and need to pull the phone then we get a problem. I wouldn't get another one just because of that reason.

I wanted to see how this phone stand held up so I waited a while to post a review. However, having had this phone stand in my car for 6 months, I can say this is an amazing product. It was extremely easy to install and the adhesive worked immediately despite the product suggesting a 24 hour wait before use. I have been using the stand almost daily and the adhesive has not budged. The magnet is extremely strong and I have not had issues with my phone falling off of it. It is very easy to adjust the stand although it takes a bit of elbow grease so not recommended while driving. The price of this product is very good for how well it works and I hope it will serve me well for months to come!

I was looking at much more expensive options and well as different mounting points to have my phone in the optimal position on my dash which is not really suitable for most mounts (2014 Silverado). I took at chance on this one and glad I did. Magnet is strong enough that I never need to worry about my phone (Pixel 9 Pro) falling off. With the adhesive method, I was able to mount this to my dash which, so far, has held very securely throughout the winter. We'll need to see how hot summer temps affect the adhesive and if any lasting damage to my dash from installation, but initially I am very happy with this product.

I've been using for about a week. Unfortunately I don't really have any flat surfaces that are ideas for sticking the base on. What I've done instead is reused my old traditional phone holder, placed the base on the flat part of that and used it essentially as a magnet.I have a dbrand case with a magnet and it sticks the the phone perfectly. It's not too strong that it's difficult to take off, but not so weak that the phone falls off.I am able to make enough adjustments so that the phone is at the perfect angle too.The only obvious downside is that your phone or case needs to be magnetic. They do provide something you can stick inside your case, which is fine if you own your phone. But if someone else wanted to use their phone on your mount, they would need to have a magnetic phone/case.So for being magnetic only and only sticking to flat (not curved) surfaces are the only reasons I took away a star. Honestly I don't mind the magnetic requirement, but if it could stick to a curved surface this would be 5/5. Otherwise it's sturdy, reliable and very adjustable.
