Kept an old big screen tv that my son left behind in his bedroom. He only ever watched movies and played games on it, but I wanted to be able to access antenna tv on it when we had guests, so I ordered this. Works great.

I really got it to try to convert my digital cable to my analog T.V. Didn't work, but I got a Digital TV antenna and it worked fine.

Bought 2 of this particular converter box when they first came out. Needed another one for a different tv; decided to go with what I knew worked for us. Not disappointed. Works great!

Nice no frills dtv converter box. Has standard coax input not some stupid 'smart' antenna interface like others. All the basics are there except one problem. Mislocate your remote and you are stuck watching the last channel it was tuned to. I would pay even $5 more for chan +/- buttons on the front of the unit. Are you good with your remote? Do other household members (kids) like to walk away with it leaving you watching SpongeBob Sat marathon? One time and you will agree! Chain remote to sofa, get a learning remote.... have a backup plan for this terrible day. My 'mote has been incognito for a month... It's here somewhere and worat part is I lost it on myself this time! Ugghhhh
