My granddaughter was able to teach herself how to crochet with this beginner kit. She raises chickens so she loved the cute set. Set was just as described. Would recommend.

The pattern is cute, but with this type of yarn (super fluffy) it’s very difficult to see the stitches, specially if you’re a beginner. The tutorial videos do not use this type of yarn, so it’s hard to know what your stitch is supposed to look like. This kit has 2 tutorials: one for basic crocheting and the other one for the chickens, instead of one with everything. I would suggest videos with better quality as well.

I like the color of the yarn and how big and cozy it was. It also came in a cute box. The instructions were okay. I'm very new to crochet so maybe someone else who knows more would be fine with them.

The kit has everything you need to complete project . I bought this for my granddaughters because they wanted to learn how to crochet. It might be a little bit challenging for a beginner . Have to wait and see . But they were thrilled to receive it .

Directions were fairly good, having done other amigurumi kits, but videos were hard to find. Sometimes a visual was needed.

I really liked these. I have been laid up for several weeks and crocheting has been a new skill I have been doing to pass the time. These are fairly easy. The difficulty lies in the thickness of the chenille yarn, it is a little tricky to count stitches, at least for me, as they all blend in. However the chenille does make the chickens look very cute. The main complaint I have is the safety eyes that came with the kit are very small, like end of tic-tac small and therefore slip right through the large stitch that the chenille yarn makes. I lost two eyes from the chickens after I stitched them up and had to fish them out like a button. I mailed them to my mom and hope that all three show up with eyes. My suggestion would be that they use larger safety eyes to help them not slide through.

I recently got the Christmas crochet kit, and I’m really happy with it! I just learned to crochet while my daughter was recovering from her bone marrow transplant, and this was my second project. Making it perfect for beginners. What I Loved: • Everything You Need: This kit comes with everything, yarn, hooks, stuffing, and even a video tutorial. I did not use the tutorial. It wasn’t super user friendly, but there if you need it. It was so nice not having to search for supplies. I just opened the box and got started! • Adorable Gnomes: I’m a big fan of gnomes, so this was right up my alley. Making these little guys felt festive and fun, just in time for Christmas. • Easy to Follow: The step-by-step guide and video were easy to follow. The instructions were clear, and I loved how they took their time explaining each step. • Extra Yarn: It gave me the freedom to make mistakes and try new things without stressing about running out.Overall, this kit was a blast to work on. It was a nice way to relax while my daughter recovered from her bone marrow transplant. I wanted to do something to get into the holiday spirit. I’m excited to gift some of these gnomes to friends and family! If you’re looking for a fun craft project, this is definitely worth it!
