I like the color and sheen of this polyester rope. Very durable and I would consider it weather proof for outdoor design use. It looks and knots slightly smaller than 3mm cotton cord but that is expected.

The cord is thick enough to crochet into something that needs structure to stand up without any other support. It might be a bit slippery at the very beginning stitches but the rest is fine once it get going. The cord has a subtle sheen that makes the final work looks quite modern, so would not recommend for any rustic or boho projects. Overall, it's a good quality and sturdy cord to have.

I used this to crochet a mat, and when I was done, my hands felt like they had a weird waxy coating on them. After I washed my hands, it wasn't there any more, but I'm going to wash the mat, and hopefully it goes through the washing machine ok. The color is really bright. It's really stiff, and a little difficult to crochet with, but not impossible.

This does not work well, at all, for macrame. This is paracord. There is no friction that allows the knots to stay in place. It has its uses, but macrame is not one of them.

I bought this cord for an outdoor macrame project. I thought it would hold up better than acrylic yarn. I hung my project outside and I was shocked at how fast it faded! After a week of hanging on a fence it seemed to be dull in color. I picked up the project and looked on the side that was against the fence and it was noticeably brighter than the front side. I was very disappointed. I would not recommend this product for outdoor applications.
