These are amazing inserts. They are far better than the standard heat insert ones. These grip in tight and do not move no matter how much you tighten a screw into it. Heat set inserts will push themselves out if you bottom out a screw into it unlike these.I took an M3 screw, added 2 m3 nuts and tightened them against each other. I cut the head off the screw and put the shaft into a drill. I screwed the insert onto the m3 screw sticking out of my drill and with the slot side of the insert sticking towards what you want to insert it into and used the drill to screw the insert in flush. I then reversed the drill and backed the m3 screw(home made insert inserter bit) out of the insert leaving a beautiful threaded hole.
