I've only used these a handful of times in the past week or so, but they seem to work just fine. I cant say much more as I really haven't put them to the "test" but they did work well for the projects I've used them on. Can't beat them for the price.

Received the Macxcoip four spiral bit Tuesday. It comes in a firm plastic case, thought that was good to protect it. Bought it to drill a 1 1/4 hole in a stainless sink for point of service RO water filtration. This is the 4 flute bit M35 cobalt. After marking and center punch the location for the hole, it was only 10 minutes to cut through the stainless. A nice perfect hole! I was happy as a pig in s@$%. Note drill slow and steady and hold the drill firm. Also use a 30 weight motor oil, the reason is a thinner cutting oil or WD40 drains right through the hole and doesn't keep the bit lubed. Also smear some on the bit before you start. After cleaning the bit there wasn't a mark on it.

I have been using mine to mostly drill 3/32 aluminum. Still working good. I did drill some steel as well and it worked good there too. Has a good selection of hole size steps including 15/16 which works for XLR jack holes.

this is a followup on my purchase. when I received my step drill the shaft was broken inside the plastic case. it was obvious that it was a return. I wrote the seller MACXCOIP and sent a poor review, and returned the bit for a refund. they immediately apologized and contacted me that they would send me a new bit an no cost. I never write follow up reviews but I felt they went over and above to make it up to me. thanks for caring about your customers. I only gave 4's on my new review because I feel more people read the less than 5 star reviews. the bit works great and seems very well built.

These are VERY VERY strong and powerful. I bought them to drill through very thick steel beams. They went through it like butter. After I ruined five carbon drill bits trying to do the same. I highly recommend them for the toughest jobs!! Also, after drilling four holes through the beams, the retain the exact same sharpness as when they first arrived!!!

This did in fact drill two one inch diameter holes in 18 gauge stainless steel plate how ever, a little tip, the job didn't go so well in the drill press set at its lowest speed. What did work very well was to install the stepper in a heavy drill , slow speed, cutting oil, and while drilling, rotate the drill in a small circular motion. Great bit!Clean job, just a little finesse.

Nice sharp bit, I bought it to use on stainless steel, it drill my hole and was fast cutting. I would recommend this as a alternative to spending the $100 on a name brand but of this size
