Honestly this is a great reel. I was a little skeptical at first but wow was i wrong. Feels good in hand and gears are smooth as can be. Good price too! I'd put it up there with a couple other big brands that will not be named. All in all I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Decent weight, it’s smooth, speedy, looks nice, and high quality. Only gripe is that the drag clicks are super quiet but it’s nice sounding

After decades of using reels in the $75-$150 range Handing is now my reel of choice. They're super smooth, balanced, the drag is really good, and I have yet to have any kind of bailspring malfunction or any other issue. Great reels for cheap!

Owned 4 of them now for 9 months. I kayak fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass here in Eastern Georgia. With the sand, dirt, submersion in water I was really tearing up my expensive reels. To get my old reels serviced it cost me more than buying one of these new reels.I thought by now I’d have to order some more. I didn’t. They work just as good as my $150 reels…every bit as good. They are smooth and sturdy. I highly recommend these. I was thinking about ordering more for the future, but they really don’t need replaced. Got the black ones, they do look good!

This reel is a certified BUDGET BANGER. I got the one in black and have abused the heck out of it in salt and freshwater. I recommend sizing up by one size as the number rating isn't quite true to size. Smooth drag, good product, just rinse lubricate and service it regularly. I have landed multiple double-digit catfish and stripers with this reel, as well as a monster Jack crevalle that took me for a ride. Great product. 10/10 If you are a bank fisherman or a college student and you abuse your reels/ are on a budget, this is the one for you. Ditch the Shimano, Daiwa, Okuma, Lews and grab you a M1

Bought this reel in 500 size when I came across it while looking for a couple spinning reels. I usually stay under the $100 mark for spinning reels and I was like what the heck , it’s $16. I’m always looking for items that are overachievers for the price . Well I will say that the reviews don’t lie. This is one reel that punches way above its price. I’ve only fished it 4 days and I’m impressed. Drag is smooth and it reels smooth and cast well. I put 4lb test on it and used for crappie. I purposely used it more than my better reels just to see how it did. It’s only 4 times but it worked a lot of fish and there’s absolutely nothing to complain about, especially for the price.time will tell, but, I wouldn’t hesitate to give it a try. For the money I don’t see how you could ever go wrong.
