Since reddington and other medium high end manufacturers make products in China why not give these guys a try. Looks good. Lot of rod and reel for the money. Hits way above the price point. If looking for $1k rod, not here then again it works. I own st croix and ugly sticks and prefer the latter for the most part. Reel seems solid. Pole is nice. Again way above price point. More in package then or is or reddington and have both

Perfect for all around salmon fishing here in AK, Ship creek, Kenai, Bird Creek, Kasilof, any place to flip for salmon.... light but sturdy and strong, well built and not so expensive. Perfect gear for flipping for salmon!

This was an amazingly good buy. I took it to Holbox Mexico and fished it for five days. Performed perfectly. The rod is medium fast and the reel is medium arbor with a great drag! We were all surprised at the quality of the entire rig. I have TFO, Orvis,Winston and other rugs an this is good stuff.

Honestly, wasn’t expecting a whole bunch out of a $100 musky fly rod but man was I wrong. This thing really does an awesome job throwing big musky flies. It’s stiff, but not so much so that it makes it hard to load the rod. The extended fighting butt really makes figure 8’s a cake walk. It has plenty of power to handle big fish. I paired it with a 360gr intermediate line and it runs flawlessly. You really can’t beat this rod for the price. Most other musky rods will run you $300 plus, but this one would rival any of the big brands. The only shortcoming this rod has is the stripping guides, but that’s not a problem if you know how to replace them. If you’re wanting to get into musky fishing and not have it break the bank but this rod. You won’t regret it.

This is a solid rod! I fish every single day and I need a real workhorse that I can really work on a variety of saltwater fish. I swear when it comes to rods breaking, it never seems to happen from fighting a fish. The first night out with this rod, the wind knocked it over while I was changing flies, a small rock about the size of a golf ball rolled about 1/2” and tapped the rod tip... when I picked up the rod, I noticed it was cracked all the way around the top guide. When I touched the end, the tip dropped to the ground. Despite my frustration and swearing, I was still able to manage some very slowed down casts and landed a baby snook. Amazon sent a replacement quickly the next day and I had a replacement about a week later. Unfortunately, I had the rod repaired by then and kept using it. Now that tarpon season is over and I’m not swamped with work and fishing, I need to get that replacement sent back! At the end of the day, 1” less on that rod recovers the line significantly better with heavier saltwater flies and a shooting line. And the rod itself is a workhorse and extremely affordable (for a fly rod😜)

It catches fish. The flies, leaders and fly box were cheap, but the rod, reel, and line are ok. My biggest gripe is the top two sections come off sometimes when I'm casting. Overall, it catches fish, and you really can't beat the price.
