This is not easy to assembly or use as so big and awkward. Sides so tight it ripped my expensive fabric.

I love not having to hold my cross stitch with my hand to work on it, but the stand itself comes apart every other minute. I ended up using painter’s tape to secure the stand to the base so I can undo it when I want to change it out. The other adjustment made was to buy all new clips for the frame, as the originals don’t work at all. They didn’t hold my fabric stable, and the corners were too sharp, making the risk of damage too high to my investment of supplies and hours of work whenever I needed to move my work area.I would really love a smaller version than this one, as this size gets unwieldy fast. I would buy multiple sets of a smaller version in a finger snap! Even better if there’s space between the bottom of the upper frame and the join to the bottom frame of the stand.

This product works very well. I was looking for a stand for embroidery because my left thumb was hurting from holding the embroidery for long periods of time. This does the trick. It also allows me to use both hands while stitching. The snap-ons are a bit tight right now, but I think they may ease up a bit with use. Your project will be secure with this unit.

While the concept is spot on, the execution of the design is flawed. Firstly, as a lifetime crossstitcher, there has to be comfort in working on a piece. For me, I have to be able to reach the back of the work to push the needle through and the most direct route is from the bottom. The frame is too narrow at the bottom for my hand to get back there. Working from the side is problematic for whichever side is not dominate. Secondly, the clamps are more than way too tight on the work. Broken nails abound when trying to remove the clamps. The chance of ripping the linen or aida is too great to even risk it. And the separate purchase of clamps with the little lip, while a great idea, is more expense and seem to only come in 4” pieces. I am so disappointed because I have five fused discs in my neck (most likely necessitated by looking down to my lap all my life) and really have to have a table frame to hold my pieces at near eye level if I am to continue to do my needlework. Maybe the manufacturer will read some of the reviews and improve the design. There are not really many stands for Q-snap frames which is the best for keeping a piece really taunt like it needs to be for uniform stitching. I’ll be watching to see if this product gets improved and will try it again if it does.

I do a lot of cross stitching and I need a good stand. I have spent a lot of money trying many different ones, but I like this one best. Because the price is so reasonable, I have one for each project.

This! My hands are eternally grateful. No more cramps, it sits perfectly allowing me to use both hands. It keeps my fabric nice and taut. Very versatile. I can use it as pictured for longer fabrics or flipped over as advertised. Very easy to assemble. The 3 way connectors are a bit loose but nothing I can't work around. I'd give this 10 stars if I could!

Both good and bad. Assembly it very simple and fast. Great to be able to have both hands free. I have little use of strength in my hands. I can sew longer because my hands don’t cramp up too early. This also allows me to correct small fixes before they get out of control. Being able to remove the sewing stand to see the backside is good. I amable to smooth out the threads and make them neater. I like how it holds the fabric taunt.Bad sides:They need to include an instruction sheet for the pull tabs, making and removing. I had to go back to the video to see if I was missing something in the kit.I have a hard time getting the clamps on and off. I am afraid of tearing my fabric, I do mostly linen table runners.Overall, I like this holder

The stand fits my needs perfectly. I wanted a stand that would hold my cross stitch stretcher scroll bar and also let me easily turn the cross stitch upside down to start and end different colors. The other holders I had needed to have screws loosened to turn the stitchery over, which eventually wore out the screws. For this stand I added the use a short bungee cord with the usual large hooks at each end to hold the stretcher scroll bar to the stand. This then lets me easily turn over the stretcher scroll bar as needed. As previous readers said, it took time to assemble, but then it would have helped if I had reviewed the pictures first - note that is was easy to redo when I assembled it incorrectly.
