I absolutely HATE wooden hoops. I found one like this at Michael's. I absolutely love it so I bought this set with the different sizes. They keep my fabric tight as hell. And they're so much easier to use than traditional hoops. It's super sturdy and comes in a bunch of colors.

I have several wooden and plastic looms, but always return to the spring loaded looms. I get better tension all around with whatever project I am working on with the spring loaded looms.

These hoops are fantastic! They hold the cloth in place far better than any other style of hoop I have used before. The fabric stays in place, and taut, meaning I don’t have to constantly readjust the tension. Definitely worth it.

These hoops are easy to use and good quality. I like that they are spring style instead of screw style so you can just pop the fabric in and go. I also like the color choice.

Once this is on, it will hold fairly well... but it is a pain to set and if you try to tighten the fabric it pops off way too easy. I have used this everyday for about 7 months now... but am so fed up with it, I just purchased something new today. I should have returned it from the get go, but thought it might just be user error and something I'd just have to get used to.

I’ve never been so disappointed in the tightness and quality of products. I can’t even fit it into the fabric. There is too much tension and the plastic doesn’t grip well . I struggle with trying every ring to my cross stitch and couldn’t even get the smallest one on. It is too hard to use. I will not be wasting my money on this product again.

I love, love, love the tension! You could not ask for better tension with these hoops. I only wish there were more sizes. The little is perfect for ornaments and the largest one is great for regular projects. I will never use any other brand!

I used a clamp to secure the two handles together and had “another set of hands” before I could fit it together over my material I like the black tension assist near the handles.1 It keeps the area snug. I use it for needle point. Very happy with this result. K
