Good wired set. Not blue tooth and not wireless. Comfortable, good sound. Recommended by my musician friends, they did not disappoint for a fair priced set.

I was looking for headphone with detachable cable because in my experience the cable on my previews headphones broke before the headphones. The cable is nice and soft and long. I use LyxPro HAS-15 when I play on my pc and it made the whole experience more immersive. They sound good and are comfortable because the headphones go around the hears and nothing press on them. they provide a reasonable level of sound isolation ( I only use them indoor)

These headphones seem like an absolute bargain. The fit and finish is quite good. Quality materials are used. They sound really good but just as important they are comfortable for long periods of time. Some may find that they are fairly snug at the ear cups, I like the good seal, so compromise. At under $50 I might need to get a second pair.

I am thoroughly impressed by these headphones at this price point. I've had many pairs of more expensive headphones and just really wanted something to keep permanently at my home PC and not spend so much. What attracted me initially to these is the build quality. These are built like they should cost $150.00 not $40.00. I've owned a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50's and they are very similar to the construction of those. In fact I sold those because they were not comfortable on me for some reason. The LyxPro are very sturdy, have a nice thick cord that's perfect in length for an office set up, they are extremely comfortable for me. The ear foam is very soft and they fit nicely over my ears. They do as good of job as any others for noise suppression . I don't care much about packaging reviews, but they arrived in a box and it wasn't damaged....I think when reading reviews on audio products, and headphones in this case, there's a couple of very important factors to keep in mind as to who's writing the review. First off, headphones, and all speakers have a "break in" period before they will sound correctly. The cones outer suspension ring needs to become flexible and compliant, which it is not when brand new. These are no different than any others I've purchased, they kind of sounded like poo straight out of the box, but that's not important. I got the headphones 3 days ago and have had them playing non-stop for the entire time since I received them, so I'm at like maybe 55-60 hours right now. I simply had my playlist repeating at a fairly high volume, and never turned my computer off. Each day they sounded better and better, and today they are most likely what is a real listening experience. The second factor when reading a review, is what equipment or device is being used and, what file types or quality is being listened too. I'm an audio lover and I'm using a Foobar2000 player with CD's ripped to FLAC lossless format. I'm playing the headphones through an Audio Engine D1 DAC-headphone amp. So, I feel I'm going to get the most out of them.So as far as the sound quality goes they are fantastic! The people that say there's no bass are dull or have no imaging have probably reviewed them straight from the box. They are just a little flat on the high's but have some real good punch on the bottom end. I've included a screen shot with this review of my player to show the EQ and what I've adjusted. I've settled on mostly flat, but with a slight increase on the top end (I've got some hearing issues and don't hear high frequencies so great and that my be why) and I've also just kicked the bass a bit, but not for all songs, there are songs that I leave the EQ flat, but always have the highs adjusted up. In a perfect world for an "audiophile" an EQ wouldn't be used, but we aren't dealing with high end stuff here, and I fully expected to adjust some, but am surprised at how little they need. The vocals are very clean and are probably the highlight, but with a little increase on the highs and what's showing up now after hours of play time, they are crisp and bright. The bass is real punchy and clean. Acoustic guitar's and piano's sound very good and accurate and crisp. No, they do not image or sound as open and airy as some of the more expensive pairs, but they are a closed cup design and that contributes to anything you listen to. Vocals recorded in a proper studio have a nice open room filling feel to them. They perform better at at low volumes than I expected still having the presence of that nice bass response. At moderately high volume they perform well, but if pushed to very high volumes they kind of fall apart and get a bit mid-range dominant. As a whole, are they as good or better than most expensive brands? No they're not. But I can say they sound about 90% of my Audio Technica's that I paid $125.00 for. They are more than I expected, and are very enjoyable to listen too. They are not fatiguing on the ears after long periods of listening, which is my first sign of how clean and clear they are, from my experience. I've been at my desk most of the day and have had them on for about 6 hrs and they still are comfortable and enjoyable. So, the bottom line is if you don't want to spend a lot, these are a great value. I couldn't say how they would perform with itunes or compressed mp3's on your phone. I would expect to loose lots of quality due to the obvious music compression and lack of power of a small device. My Audio Engine D1 DAC was designed and built for one job, to make audio as good as possible, a phone well also does many other things too. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and expect to use them a lot. And would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid budget product that performs better than it should.

I bought these headphones about a week ago and they arrived three days ago, a few day before they went on sale, curse the luck. I would say to pick them up while they're on sale for sure, and at $40, are still a decent deal. The good:I am a DJ/producer and these don't measure up to my MDR 7506's at all in the studio. If you're looking for something to produce with, spend the money on the Sony pair. However, for playing a party, they work pretty well perfectly. They isolate the sound well and are clear and loud enough to hear what I'm doing.Sound quality:Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting Sony quality, and got them to replace a pair of Monster Ntunes that I used for dailies and playing live. These. In my opinion, blow the Monsters out of the water. The bass is strong, yet not too overpowering and the mids are clean enough, though they lack the highs needed for production.Build qualityThese headphones are light enough to be worn for a long time, yet seem sturdy and the metal cups are a nice aesthetic touch and hold up well as I have already dropped them twice. They have a long chord, which is neither coiled nor removable, which would be nice. The HAS-30s have a removable chord, though I don't own a pair and cannot comment much more on that. The badAt high volumes, the bass can become muddled, and the mids become slightly distorted. The ear cups are small and will probably be uncomfortable for people with larger ears, and after wearing them for about two hours, they became rather uncomfortable as they are a bit tight. The long chord is nice for DJs, but would make them pretty impractical as daily listenersOverall, for the $40 price point, the LyxPros are some of the better headphones I have bought in recent times, after you break them in. However, if you want studio quality, spend the extra $30 on some 7506s.A side note that was mentioned in an earlier review is that most people probably got these cheap or as a promotion and they are not as good as they may say. HOWEVER, for the price, they're a nice pair of headphones and should be picked up on sale for sure.

Hope this product still available. Got this just to watch the movies. Compared to previous headphones i had which were quite overloaded with frequencies and ending up with all of them sort of blending together I found these to be very very clear and crispy. Bass is not overwhelming, highs doesn't pierce your ears and mids don't make the other two sound crap. Do yourself a favour and get these if you are looking for decent budget cans. Keep in mind lead is quite long and doesn't come off so you can't swap it for a shorter one for listening to music when out and about.
