The item reviewed is a Studio Monitor Headset. They are over ear headphones with 3.5mm or 6.35mm jacks for Studio, Music, DJ, Amplifier, Podcast, Mixer, Laptop, PC by Miwayer. This headset is certainly an economy level item, but works well in a bank of headphones for musicians to monitor their tracks within a group. Although the sound quality on its own is pretty standard, running this headset through a headphone pre-amp and mixer can reproduce the tones being run through the EQ and compressor rather well.I do not recommend it be used for Summing, Mixing, or any type of bus creation. Use the expensive high quality headsets for something that important. This type of headset is best used in a situation where you just need several folks listening in with signal separation.

So these are your basic headphones. I know the push them as "studio" headphones. But they really handle only normal volumes. For studio use they would need to handle high levels of bass, at least for my use. I have to say that these headphones have the longest straight cable I have seen in a while. I actually prefer a straight cable a opposed to a coiled cable. There is always a slight "pull" when using a coiled cable. There is no real strain relief on the headphone jack end or headphone end. Not a huge issue, but I don't expect these will last a long time. Also, the comfort level for long use is not great, but you could change the ear pads if needed. I'm not sure why they insist on making ROUND ear pads. Most ears I have seen are oblong. Also, they are 32 ohms so you should really look into how that may affect your needs. If you need a simple and basic headphone, these will work for you.

Sound is fairly natural and flattish sounding, there isn't a grandious amount of swing in the response curve with these, except at the ends of the spectrum, which is expected I suppose. They don't go down terribly low in frequncy without rolling off heavily or distorting, but so long as you aren't pounding the bass, these deliver clear and fairly balanced sound considering the price range. The highs aren't that remarkable to be honest, but they're not terribly subdued either, they just don't feel "open" anything above 4K just sounds unidimensional. But anyway, they're alright. The biggest downside is the feeling of them on your head, they are a little snug although I have a big head I suppose, but also the ear cups aren't that soft and this can be hard to wear for a long period of time, also I got ear fatigue rather quicklyl with these as well. Overall if you are in this price range it's not a bad choice compared to other offereings that are similarly priced or even a little bit over, I just wish they were more comfortable and sounded a little more "exciting/airy".

I needed some inexpensive headphones to plug into my audio mixer for quick monitoring of audio signal. This item fits the bill. I like that I could either plug it into a small jack or a larger 1/4" jack - an adapter is provided which securely screws onto the smaller plug. If you're looking for superior sound quality you should look elsewhere, but for my purpose, it suits me very well.

First of all, the headphones are nice. The bass is good and you can clearly hear the highs and mids using these headphones. They are very light to wear. My concern is that the ad mentions that the cable is detachable and it is not. It also mentions that you get a 6.35mm adapter, I did not get that. The ad also states that this is a OneOdio wired headset, it is not. This looks like the ad was copied and wasn't edited for this product. Although the headphones are nice, I am highly disappointed by the presentation of these headphones.

I like these studio headphones. They are a great backup pair to have to my regular Audio Technica pair for a fraction of the price. The cord is plenty long enough and it gives options to use in both the bigger and smaller headphone jacks for multi use.The headphones can start to hurt my ears after a while due to the pressure and size of my head, so I can't wear these for a super long time, but my husband wore these and said they were just fine for him. So your mileage may vary.I think for the price, this is a good value pair to try out and see if it works for you, so I can recommend this product.
