Studio monitors with excellent sound reproduction. Sounds like you’re in the studio. It’s why so many musicians use AT.

These Audio Technica Headphones are the best I have experienced. The noise isolation is the best in its class. I live in an apartment complex and there is a lot of unwanted noise. I don’t hear anything. I’ve owned more expensive headphones that claim to be closed back but don’t quite deliver as these do. At first the bass seemed a bit weak but once I broken them in after about eight hours of listening to music they sounded better. For the price I can’t complain

The quality of the sound was otherworldly. They were comfortable and built to high standards. Cords were long enough and they fit very well (I have a big head). The value is definitely there, I just decided to go with Beats Studio Pro instead. Spatial Audio

Five stars easily. Not only beautiful but the best monitors if you're looking for a flat signal and the best bang for your buck. Great sound quality 💯

Audio Technica is known for quality sound from high to low frequencies and this model delivers on that.Unfortunately, the cups are a little small for my big-ish ears so it gets uncomfortable to wear after a few hours.

These are my favorite headphones and I now have all the shades of blue they’ve released. My first pair are a few years old and have no issues- the ear pads are still in great shape, the fit is good for any sized head, the sound quality is fantastic, there are no scratches on them because I keep them in cases, but they’ve also proven to be durable after some accidental drops. I DJ about 4-6 times a month and these always feel comfortable and look great. I love that they come with multiple cords, because they’re all convenient for different kinds of venue set ups. These are definitely worth every penny!

I bought the ATH-M50xIB headphones. They sound is very clear, with great range and bass response. I don't own any amplifiers to really test it fully but to the average ear it works wonderfully for what I need them for. I do recommend to buy new headphone ear pads for those who don't like their ears being squished. So in all no complaints from this gal.

I bought these headphones because I wanted something audiophile-level yet affordable to listen to music with, as well as maybe branch out if I end up playing my guitar more. I also really adored the cute icy blue color that are close to a pale cyan. I have tried quite a few headphones, including many steelseries headsets and hyperx cloud 2. I think the sound profile of these ones are better to me than the steelseries. But, I still think these aren't perfect, Im not sure if its because of the default equalization and Ive been used to the hyperx cloud's one, but these are still really good.Unlike other reviews saying its uncomfortable with glasses, I went for it and I find it to actually not bother me to wear for long periods. Another plus is that the connector cable is really solid compared to some cheaper flimsy ones I've used. I'm making this review after using this headset for quite a long time now and besides the occasional crackling that was the result of the cable not being plugged in right I haven't had any issues. The padding is well made and comfortable out of the box too.

Ive wanted a pair of these for a long time and finally got them on a sale.Colour: I got Ice Blue because "black is boring" and my other headphones are all black. Ice Blue is not a good colour, they look like cheap plastic toys.Fit: They are quite tight, not enough to be an issue but after long periods you certainly notice. You also notice sweat under the pads.Sound: They have a slightly coloured sound that most people will appreciate. The bass is accentuated from around 120hz down and there is a bump in the high freqs that makes them "nice". They are great for tracking as you record or listening to music overall. The frequency response is more controlled than the majority of commercial headphones.Comparrassion: Compared to the commercial Sony range (as an example) these are leaps and bounds better in every way as long as you don't want active noise cancellation. (There is a little bleed from external devices obviously but nothing out of the ordinary).Their closest competition is possibly the DT 770 range from Beyer. (I own both the DT770 Pro and the DT880 Pro). Id go for the DT770 Pro over these, except that the 250ohm version need a good headphone amp to drive them well. However the DT770 Pro fit nicer and to my ears sound flatter. (They have a bigger bump in the high end but less accentuated lower mids & bass so don't sound quite as muddy on some songs). Drums sound fatter and fuller on the ATH M50X for example. For mixing down the DT880Pro (Semi open) is a way better option than either of these.Misc: The ATH m50X have multiple cable replacement options that come in the box which is a real plus over their competition. A nice touch.Summary: There's a reason so many studios use the ATH M50X as recording (tracking) headphones and why they are so popular for listening to music, they are very good.
