Bought renewed and they came in the original packaging and performed and looked good as new. Very flat response(which is good). Had to EQ(boost) the mid range a bit to get it right where i wanted it. My source was my desktop onboard sound card....so no external amp/dac. Build quality was plastic feeling and very light. Not cheap but not high quality as well. Collapsible, along with a very thick cord and a 1/4 screw on adapter. Also a leather bag to transport.Now for my major complaint which forced me to return these headphones. This isn't really a headphone problem/defect but more about finding a pair that fits my ears comfortably and these don't have a big enough surround to fit all the way around and over my ears. They either sit on the top of my ears or on the bottom of my earlobes which cause a good bit of pain if used for more then 10-15 mins at a time.

For my first pair of studio monitor headphones- these are impeccable. The sound is so crisp and clean. The product quality is phenomenal as well.

I recently bought a Yamaha Montage and wanted headphones so I could play at night. The depth and breadth of sound in these headphones is incredible. You get every sound to perfection. For the price-point - these are a steal of a deal.

I give one star to "Noise cancellation" because this model (Audio-Technica ATH-M30x Professional Studio Monitor Headphones, Black (Renewed)) does not have active noise cancellation. But it does not need it in my home, the large over-my-big-ears give the outside world isolated enough! Amazing fidelity and definition. I make music and learn that monitoring live music with Bluetooth headphones is NOT a good thang because the latency. I got a "Renewed" pair and tell no difference between this and new and it comes fully warrantied.

All I can say is incredible. Great for music and games. Coming from Airpods and other lower quality (but often higher priced) headphones, these were like a whole new world. Literally like unlocking a sixth sense. You start to hear new stuff in songs that you've never heard before. Music feels meaningful in these headphones and I don't just mean like high bass and directional audio. I feel like I can actually hear everything I'm meant to hear. I don't use an amp or anything. I just plug them into my computer and phone and they're perfect. For games they're also great. Directional isn't as good as some gaming headsets cause these are a lot closer to you're ear but the quality makes up for it.

These headphones are great. They’re especially great for the price. I wish they would be a little more vestirle as they only turn in in one direction.

I'm glad I didn't spend more on some others I was looking at. You really can hear much more detail vs normal high-end headphones. Subtle tone differences you just can't hear wit standard headphones.

The best headphones on the market for their ample sound quality, durability and price.I bought my first pair in 2012, using them thousands of hours a year at home and on the go. They are still functioning strongly. I use them for listening to metal, electronica, avant garde, new wave, etc and for playing bass. I bought a second pair as backup last year, but haven't needed to use the new pair.You don't know how amazing well-composed music sounds until you hear it through these.It always amazes me.
