They are my first headphones in 40 years and I'm extremely pleased. Crystal clear sound and stereo separation. And with 34 ohm impedance I can get very high volumes with my 2017 phone. The sound does not break down at high volumes either.Extremely comfortable - lay gently on ears but aren't tight, with a soft leather-ish material. Not rugged and not foldable or anything fancy except the basics, and that's all you pay for.

The value, these were like %40 cheaper than the black model. Obviously the color just wasn't selling so as nother WIN for WHITEY. and by white I mean cuz the headphones were white in color.

Compared to Seinheiser, Shure, and other AudioTechnica brands in the same price bracket, I enjoy these the most. They are very light but solid. The cable is detachable and thick. They don't cause any discomfort in my 5+ hours at a time wearing them.Sound quality is exactly what you get from $50 Audiotechnicas. It's good. I paired mine with a USB DAC for a little more umph at my computer. For a self-labeled audiophile that can never afford $1,000+ audiophile equipment, these will do great.

These are not noise-cancelling headphones, but for what they are and the price, they work and sound beautiful. They look great and the comfort around the ears is fantastic. Long sessions with them on and still they feel terrific. Highly recommended...

For the money, it's pretty good. Noise cancellation isn't the best and the leather kinda gets uncomfortable after a couple hours of usage.

I got theses to replace some Pioneer HDJ headphones - I believe the HDJ 1500's- that I used for like 5 years. . I've now used them at 2 gigs and for regular music listening - and they are good. The noise cancellation is not as good as my HDJ 1500's - but I did buy a set of over the ear pads upon first getting those. The music in the Audio -Technica's sound great. Just a really good crisp sound. The bass is there - but not overwhelming - mids and highs are there too, balanced nicely. Really just a good set of headphones. I wish they had come with a carry case or bag - but regardless I would buy these again. I received the all white version (not sure if another exists) and it came with two cord styles - one straight wire for like an iphone/samsung and a coiled wire for things like DJing. If these are being considered by you - you wont be upset. Build quality - first thing I think of is ...light and solid....if that makes any sense. It's a good thing.

The name of the game with these headphones is comfort. I bought them to use with my electric piano which I can play at for many hours so I needed something comfortable. The PRO5X's were just right for that. The comfort is amazing. There is virtually no pressure on your head and after a little while you forget that they're even on. They are also very light which means that you'll almost never get fatigued while wearing them. They are over ear so they have quite decent passive sound isolation but not nearly as good as something with active cancellation. In my opinion, the lack of noise cancellation is actually a good thing for long sessions because as someone who owns the Bose QC35s I can say that the active isolation can become uncomfortable for a while. I guess the best way I can describe the comfort is airy or cloudy which is really awesome! The Pro5Xs are very light but don't let that fool you, they sound really good. I have many pairs of headphones and these may be my favorites. They have a nice and wide frequency response which I could get below 30 Hz on my phone meaning that they could get closer to the advertised 5 Hz with a decent amp. Like I said, I use them with my piano and I actually prefer the sound that the Pro5Xs produce than the internal speakers which was surprising. The sound isn't super bass heavy (although there is respectable bass) but they are just nice and clear all the way throughout which is perfect for studio monitoring or for a DJ.Overall these headphones are amazing for the price and would be great for anything from music production to even gaming on a budget.

This was technically a downgrade but I don't feel that way. On par with higher prices and has a good balance for music.

This pair of headphones not only feel incredibly comfortable, but they sound great. The spiral cord it comes with is great for using with a PC as it is probably somewhere near 15 feet long when completely pulled out, so you have plenty of room to move around with ease. The sound quality is crisp and clear, no crackling, however my only complaint would be that in songs that have more.. chimes? imagine fairy dust sound effects, that kind of stuff, you don't want the volume to be too loud with those more sensitive noises as they're just painful to the ear. The bass is decent, nothing insane but there's definitely something there. For the price, the quality is great.
