The scale part Will let water seep into it if water gets in the case (It’s not watertight so when left out in the rain). It did not seem to affect functionality and I now realize these things don’t last more than a year anyways so it’s fine

I have used the paper test strips to check chemical levels in my pool, but thought they were a bit inaccurate. I mean, the colors never really quite matched! So, I decided to get something that was a bit more accurate but simple to use and this was my choice. I recommend this test kit to help maintain a pool. It is accurate and well made. I think it’s a good value for the price and for my peace of mind.
