How to make sushi by yourself
STEP 1
Open the lid of the Sushi Bazooka
STEP 2
Put the ingredients you like into the Bazooka
STEP 3
Close the lid and the Bazooka
STEP 4
Rotate and push the plunger to squeeze the rice
STEP 5
Place the seaweed on the sushi curtain. Open the lid of the Bazooka and push the rice onto the seaweed
STEP 6
Wrap them with the sushi curtain, and make sure they are tight
STEP 7
Cut the sushi with the sushi knife
STEP 8
Squeeze the salad dressing or tomato sauce to make the sushi more delicious

Lots of doodads but the bazooka is the important item. We got a perfect roll first time we used it. BUT one of us had experience making sushi the old fashioned way so we kind of knew what we were doing. Best if you go on You tube and look at some videos. Keep in mind you need to use sushi rice and treat it with vinegar and a little sugar for best results. Google sushi rice recipes or get a recipe book. When using don't put in too much rice or it won't close. just cover the bottom/sides and then make your little ditch for the fillings. Good. Fun. I got two of these, each from a different place so you might see this review twice.

How much do you spend on sushi? Things got a little out of hand for us and we weren't going out for sushi as often as we wanted to. Prices were going up and portions were going down, so it started to seem like it just wasn't worth the trip. Then I saw a YouTube video with a kit similar to this one and our lives changed forever.It may sound dramatic but think about your average sushi order (quantity and cost) and then add up the cost of a small bag of sushi rice, seasoned rice vinegar, crab/imitation crab/salmon, a small bag of carrots, a cucumber, a small package of cream cheese, a package of nori, and 2-3 small avocados. We generally get twelve over-stuffed sushi rolls with 6 cups of cooked rice and have leftover ingredients for another sushi night.Both of my kids (10 and 22) and I can now make sushi rolls and we take turns being in charge of making them for our family sushi nights. It makes them feel accomplished, teaches them a life skill, and helps spread the work load. Win-win-win.Unlike the kit in the YouTube video, this one comes with everything you need. Buy this and a rice cooker, if you don't already have one, and make Family Sushi Night a thing.

I really like this set. I've rolled sushi before, but have not used this gizmo, hope it makes it easier. If not the rest of the set is worth it. Love that it has a knife to cut sushi, dipping bowls, chop sticks and stands. Going to love this.

Bought this product out of sheer curiosity. Must say, I were pleasantly surprised. This has made it so easy to make sushi rolls without any real experience. I am experimenting with all varieties of fish and veggies. So simple to use. Strongly recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy sushi rolls without the high price restaurant prices.
