I have to say. I’m kind of traditional. I bought sharpening stones for my knives. I pride myself in being able to roll some pretty decent sushi. I bought this on a whim because I’m having a party soon and wanted to make a bunch of sushi and I didn’t have the time to put in and my teen was going to help so I hoped this would be a little faster and help the production. Wow! It pretty much makes it foolproof even if you’ve never had any practice. We took it out to test it prior to the party just to make a few rolls and ended up having so much fun that we made it twice in a week. So impressed. It would have been worth it just for the tube device alone but the rest of the kit was generous and a great addition. Even the knife was actually half decent given it was basically free. If you EVER want to make sushi at home, GET THIS KIT. You wil not regret it. I promise.

The products are broken after just one and half month of use, shortly after the return time frame. Its quality is very poor.

Not a bad set for under $25. The "gun" part is okay but not really and any easier or faster if you know how to make sushi. I thought maybe it would be a short cut but takes just as long to handroll. The tools it comes with are useful and nice quality except for the rice paddle which has some rough spots and a few splinters that came off at first.

I love to make sushi and I was hoping that this sushi making kit would make the process easier but it really just creates a lot more clean-up. I loved the idea of using the bazooka but when I pushed the rice out it did not come out evenly. That could be because I didn't pack it tight enough. I feel like it would be better to invest in a really good rolling mat which is the most essential part of the sushi making process. The kit came with some nice chopsticks and I do like the rice moulds. They will be good for making school lunches.
