This air mattress is wonderful for anyone but especially for the elderly or bedridden to prevent pressure sores. It has a low continuous hum that we got used to when the wiring is at the head of the bed. If the wiring is at the bottom then we can’t hear anything. This wonderful air mattress is very durable and sturdy and relieved my terrible back pain when I tried it out. It eliminated the pink and reddened pressure areas on my Mom’s boney back and side areas (sacrum, hips, shoulders, heels and elbows). Even our Cat is unable to punch a hole in it. The quality is excellent in my humble opinion‼️

THIS UNDER MATRESS PAD (my mattress is 10" high), COMES PAIRED WITH THE MONITOR ALREADY. SUPER EASY TO TURN PAD ON, IT BEEPS, YOU PLACE IT UNDER THE MATRESS, AND IT STOPS BEEPING. YOU THEN LAY ON THE BED, GET UP AN IT STARTS TO SOUND. YAY! NOW I can stop fretting I wont get there in time to use the urinal. All I can recommend is to have the monitor with a laniard, with the brand LOGO. What an idea for caregiver's peace of mind. The sweet nurse in the ER room recommended a bed alarm the day my husband fell into the shower and banged his head. He has Alzheimers and is legally blind.

I purchased the bed sensor and alarm for my mother in October. Her aide reported an issue with it in February - it began constantly beeping, even if my mother wasn’t in the bedroom. I contacted customer service and had the pleasure of working with Agna. She sent me troubleshooting ideas and corresponding videos. She wanted my feedback after trying to troubleshoot the product. It still wasn’t working appropriately. She immediately sent out a replacement at no charge. I’m going to install and pairit tomorrow. Agna asked me to follow up and let her know if it was successful or if I need any additional assistance. Wow! This really is a great company. They are very easy to work with and have useful functional products. I will buy from them again.

So easy to install and they even provided batteries and a small screwdriver in the package. It works as advertized even though we have a very thick bed mattress. The good thing I also like about this alarm system is that it doesn’t go off when he’s changing positions in bed. It only goes off immediately after he stands up. If it doesn’t wake me up, it’s human error. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who sleeps with or watches over someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s.

The alarm worked great on “normal mode” when I tested it on my own traditional mattress. However, when I went to install it under my mother’s Sleep Number mattress, the sensor just kept continuously beeping. (When it stops beeping, you know it is armed.) I assume the Sleep Number air mattress is simply not heavy enough to arm the Lundberg sensor.Even under my traditional mattress, the early warning alarm was not activating. I weigh 120 lbs, so perhaps I am not heavy enough for the sensor to pickup that I had sat up on the edge of the bed? I would have been happy with “normal” mode (where it alerts that the person has left the bed, but as I explained above, I think there is a compatibility issue.My last complaint is that, if one is trying to discreetly install it— you can forget that. The process to arm the system takes a couple of minutes, and the sensor beeps the whole time. Forget any notions of secrecy!The product is excellent if your circumstances fit what the technology can handle. (I am SO sad that our circumstances seem to be falling outside it’s abilities.)

My mother has dementia and had gotten out of bed in the middle of night and had a nasty fall. Purchased this bed mat and it works like a charm! Alarm goes off before she gets out of bed waking us up so we can tend to her before she wanders and potentially falls again. Was concerned whether that mat would work under a 10” memory foam mattress but it works every time. Now we can rest better knowing that we will receive an alert!

We’ve been using this for about a month for my elderly mother who, previous to the purchase, had a fall going to the bathroom one night. We like that it isn’t dependent on electrical power since we occasionally have a power outage. The alarm is triggered when my mother moves to the edge of the bed to get up. The only problem with that is that we get a number of false alarms because she likes to sleep right at the edge of her mattress. She will sometimes trigger the alarm just by rolling to the edge, not actually getting up. We have put a camera in her room now so that we can check on our smartphone if she is actually getting up or is just moving during sleep before racing down to her room to assist her.The alarm is LOUD! I can hear it from almost any room in the house when it goes off. I wish it had a volume control so that we could turn it down a bit when we are sleeping. I sleep with it on my nightstand so I can silence it immediately since it’s like having a smoke detector go off. The other annoyance is that when you turn it back on again, it gives out one loud alarm tone. I hide it under a pillow before turning back on so I don’t wake my husband up a second time.Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase because I never miss my mother getting out of her bed alone.

The bed alarm works very well. The company has excellent customer service.I take care of an elderly person with dementia. She often tries to get out of bed to sit in her wheel chair, but she is unable to walk. This is the perfect storm for a fall. I installed a camera/microphone in her room to monitor her. But unless one is watching the monitor, if the person tries to get up without making any noise, one can miss it an she can fall. To correct this, I tried first another bed alarm. But it would go off whenever she moved in bed. Then I purchased the Lunderg alarm. Ever since I installed it, I have been alerted every time she tries to get up and, therefore, have been able to prevent a fall. It has been 4 months now without a single fall. And the alarm only goes off when she tries to get out of bed, not when she moves in bed. Thank you!!!
