The Lume Cube Creator kit did not work at all with my Samsung S23+. My wife and I tried to find so many places online for help and there were none.

This is a tough product to review, as a 20-year film/video veteran I can earnestly say this is a long shot from 'professional' gear. If you are getting started, or setting up from amateur to hobbyist and releasing a few videos, then this could be a good fit.However, if you individually priced out and purchased the main tools in this kit, you get more for about $140 bucks. Is making 1 purchase vs. 3 worth a $60 difference to you? With that extra $60 you could get a better mic or additional gear.The tripod/monopod is basic, but with so many self-leveling options of the same size, this one seems limited.This is definitely better than what you get with just your phone, however, due to the cost and what you get, I have a hard time making a recommendation.

The price is too high compared to buying the parts separately. The light quality was mediocre. The selfie stick wouldn’t close all the way, which was frustrating during my trip when it wouldn’t break down.

Literally piece of trash. So flimsy. Stand randomly collapses. Phone holder cant hold position with weight of in iPhone clipped. Very disappointing.

this tripod stand set is amazing and is very sturdy and helps with creating content for people to watch without having to worry if everything is going to fall over. makes it nice to be shooting hands free while creating the content i want to put out there to the world. i highly suggest getting this

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of this Lume Cube kit! Gives me much more than I was expecting for the price.The materials are very durable and actually have some weight to them, which is reassuring, and gives me confidence and their ability to take them on the trail and road with me. I feel like the weight of the actual tripod/selfie stick would hold my devices and make it more durable. The legs for the tripod feel durable, and surprisingly lock into place which is a nice feature.The light is very bright and the functionality of the LCD screen on the back to give me details of brightness, battery, life, and what color is on, this is so very useful.It has been a while since I have been excited to use equipment like this, but I am excited to have this one and continue to use it. The microphone is very professional and provides exceptional quality. The wind buffers are well built, and seem to hug the microphone so they won’t fall off. You will not be disappointed if you use this kit. Get it! From beginner to advance this has it all.

Lume Cube is nearly a decade old company that has always had a rep for making quality products. They really went big during the pandemic when their video conferencing lights became a 'must have'. They've expanded from that niche to address the ever growing market of content creators. Even better--they keep the quality level high while selling their products at a very reasonable price point.This package delivers a very servicable--and portable--content creation kit. It has a well made and functional tripod, a Bluetooth shutter control that mounts into the tripod, a phone mount, a decent microphone and a creator light with adjustable color and brightness. There's also a charging cable and a handy case to carry everything around.Lume Cube has made a couple of microphone models before, but I was surprised to find out that it wasn't the 'weak link' in this package. It's actually a really good microphone for what it is and comes complete with a shock mount, audio cables, a foam windscreen and a furry windscreen. The tripod can be used as a handheld 'selfie stick' or extended to 55".At some point, a serious content creator might want to invest in a higher end light, mic, tripod, etc. based on their specific use case. Even so, this is a highly functional kit that I'll be keeping in the trunk of my car. Excellent product. Highly recommended!
