I use this to protect the labels of my records while wet cleaning them, also for handling them when using my Zero stat so that I do not drop it and do damage by accident. Very good item, will likely be buying a few more, just to have them around in the future. Never thought I would need something like this, but glad I have it now!

I cleaned dozens of records with and it protects the labels perfectly. And it acts as a nice handle while your cleaning.

This product is very well made! The hardware is quality, and the silicone seal is exact! No water or cleaning products can get in!! And the handles work very well when actually cleaning the vinyl! I can use the substantial handles to move the record around, flip over, etc. I am very happy with this product!!If you are cleaning your vinyl LPs, then you Need this!!

Product fit quite nicely over the record label. Very snug so it worked well for giving a record a deep cleaning without having to worry about the label. Definitely worth it. Would recommend.

I've found that a soft sponge, dish soap, and water are by far the best way to clean a record. Don't waste money on expensive products that don't do anything more than a good wet clean. Techmoan on Youtube did a good video on this. Of all the methods he tried, nothing beat good old fashioned soap and water, drying with a microfiber cloth. These label protectors are essential for a proper wet clean, some of my records cost north of $100 and I prefer not to damage the labels. These are easy to use, screw down tight and come with two gaskets that seal out any water. They work and are effective, plain and simple.

I'm a bit of a sceptic when looking at products on the internet. One never knows if the item works as advertised. Well, this one functions just fine. I did make a slight modification. I have added a plastic washer to the threaded knob side of the unit. You can see in photo 1 the circular scratch made in the plastic that screwing the knob onto the stud created. The unit comes with one fat washer which I placed over the stud, then place the first half of the unit, then add the record, then the second half of the unit, now add the new washer, now screw on the threaded knob. No, the scratch doesn't hurt anything, I'm just a bit OCD and don't like the scratch. It would be nice if the manufacturer supplied two washers.Functionally, the unit is great. I have a record cleaning procedure that includes applying a liquid solution to the record, then brushing it into the grooves. I have spotted several record labels in the past before discovering this product. Since then, I have cleaned numerous records without a single drop ruining the label. Highly recommended.

I dug out my collection (around 600) of my 60's and 70's LP's and got a new receiver and turntable for Christmas. These LP's have been in storage for over 15 years.I always took great care with my albums, cleaning before every use and keeping the stylus clean. I bought a good cleaning kit and cleaned my first record and after playing just one song, I had to stop and clean the dust and gunk off the stylus. My cleaning failed to take the embedded dust and dirt deep in the groves. I went online researching how to wet wash records. But most were talking about being careful to not get the label wet because it could damage it permanently.I then came across a video with a guy using the WEWU ROUNDS LP Vinyl Record Label Saver and looked it up on Amazon. It made sense and I thought it was a great idea for keeping the labels dry while wet washing them.Even tho my shipment took forever, not Amazons fault, it was the big snows that hit up north that derailed my shipment. But when I got it I went to work and tried it out. I cleaned my first record and not one drop was left on the label when I opened it up. Of course you have to use a little common sense and wipe the record lightly before taking the saver off the record. I use an old record cleaning dust brush (very soft) and dish liquid and lightly went around and around cleaning every inch of the LP. I hung it on a dowel rod to dry thoroughly and put it on my turntable. The sound was amazing!!!! It was clean, no dust on my stylus and the sound was like a new record!!!Anyone who still plays albums, get one of these and clean your records. It not only cleans your records but saves your labels as well! Yes, it's going to take me a LONG time to clean all my records, but it is very well worth the effort!!!
