I do not think they are made for slides, but they work for me! I am consolidating the 9 carousels my father stored his slides in. Such a space saver and he had bought a stacker attachment for the projector so just load on a pile and press the button. No loading of individual slides. This was a real space saver for my purpose!

These boxes are very sturdy and fit tight, which is good for storing coins. They even have different colored boxes and the colors look pretty cool too. The best looking boxes in my house are these red ones. I love them...

Was delighted to find these, and at such a good price, too. I'd say they're better than the "professional" style slide boxes that cost more. There aren't many products I'd call "perfect" but this is one of them.

The covers go completely down over the bottom portion of the box. Very sturdy
