I got this for my husband who is an avid coin collector. He absolutely loved it and it worked great for what he was needing. I would recommend this for any coin collector.

I like the quality and ease of use of the snaps and foam padding. Used them for dimes, pennies, quarters, and various sizes of dollar coins. The description states that it is a 168 piece set. I was expecting that they counted each insert and each snap separately and would only have enough for about 80 or so coins. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it contains enough snaps and foam padding for 168 coins. The storage box has two claps. One of them was broken when it arrived from amazon. That's the only reason I did not give this a five start ratting.

I got this for my wife for her coin collection just so she could condense the amount of space it was taking up and she really liked it. It will hold Canadian $2 coins and some bigger coins.

Actually measured wrong and got a box too large for my lock box. However, I can use the box for small model RR parts. Still win.

It will hold 192 sliver coins if you like to do that, if not still great.

Arrived on time. Packaged very well, no damage. Quality of coin capsules is good. I find them easy to open. Foam gaskets are also good quality. Regarding sizing for coins, only issue is the Canadian Silver Dollar size - but after some 'modifications' to the gasket with scissors, I got them to fit close enough. I found no issue with the depth of the Silver Dollar as the coin capsule closes tight. The 168 size is perfect for me. It will be heavy once full, but I am using for storage not carrying around. The plastic storage box seems sturdy enough.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Quality coin storage that is cheap is sometimes a challenge to find. After doing my research, I decided to give this product a try. The description is lacking in specific information that coin collectors need to feel confident: such as what materials are used in the construction of the capsules and the case. There is also conflicting information in the questions and answers and in other reviews left here by other customers. I'll try to rectify that with this review. The carry case is made of type 5 polypropylene, which is considered inert and suitable for coin storage. I sent several messages to the seller to determine the coin capsules are made from polystyrene, which is acceptable for archival purposes. I did a burn test on leftover scraps from the foam inserts and they do not appear to contain PVC, which is acidic and may damage coins. The foam inserts are likely made of EVA which is considered a safe alternative to PVC. With concerns regarding material composition addressed, I determined that this should be safe to use for my coin collection. The seller should have included this information clearly stated in the product description to increase buyer's confidence levels without the need to research or ask questions.Regarding how various different kinds of coins fit: most coins fit well. Quarters, half dollars, 1 oz silver rounds, and most silver dollars and many 1 oz silver coins fit great. What doesn't fit well? American Silver Eagles and other plus-sized 1oz silver coins such as those struck by Australia are slightly too large. However, the foam insert can be stretched around the coin and then squished into the capsule. You can make them fit with some effort. Roosevelt and Mercury dimes are a little loose. If coins being tight or loose bothers you, then you might want to go name-brand for perfect fits. However, that is significantly more expensive. What would make this product better? Add two more punch-out sizes to the foam insert: turn the two largest foam rings into four. Silver Eagles and plus-sized 1oz silver coins would then fit perfectly, and the slightly smaller Morgan and Peace dollars would also fit better if this was done. The dimes I'm not too worried about, but having one smaller size to help secure those dimes would also be welcome.Overall this product is effective and represents good value, but these two minor changes to the foam inserts would make a huge difference to some collectors. To the best of my knowledge, the materials used are suitable for long-term coin storage and I'm considering buying a second one.

I love these containers! I just bought my fourth and fifth one and may need more before it's over. They are great for holding coins and you can even take out the round coin holders and it will hold the 2" x 2" coin flips just right. The only bad thing was that the plastic on one was busted on the front corner. It's still usable, and I'm still using it, but it's busted so I know to be more careful in the future. Great product, great price, and quick shipping.
