There should be two pieces to seal the coin so that it can be inserted into bottom and top either twisted or snapped in place. All pieces are identical.I sent it back.

I'll start with the good. The capsules seal tight and protect what's inside. There were 20 as advertised and they are clear. The downside which is pretty major for me is that the capsules measurement's are so tight that I can't remove the round without destroying the capsule (carefully to protect what's inside). I took the round's measurement's from the mint and ordered these for them. They fit inside, but now I can't remove them because the metal completely below the plastic line on the bottom half you set the coin inside. I don't intend to take it out so it's not an issue at the moment, but I'd rather pay a little more to be able to get my coins out without risking damaging what these capsules are supposed to protect.

These are a good price and work. I ordered multiple sizes for multiple coins I stack (some Eagles, a lot of Maples and Britannias, some Australian,…). These work well. The 40.6 mm are best for eagles. The slightly smaller ones (39mm) are perfect for Britannias and Kangaroos. I am still hunting for cap’s to house Aussie lunar 2 oz coins (fat boys). I recommend these. Ordering from Airtight means paying for shipping unless you drop $100, a bit high for coin capsules. These are a great way to play with some of your coins And relieve the pressure to break open sealed tubes. Everyone should have a few of these for the coins you keep out.If you stack eagles, buy 40.6mm. If you stack Britannias and Maples (or Aussie roo’s), buy the 39mm. I order both. Also, these do not prevent oxidation as well as airtights. Granted, they cost far less, but I am seeing some oxidation on a coin I put in one of these (not a lot, buy airtights are superior in delaying il oxidation). Sealing these in tubes/Tupperware with silica packets will telemetry that (in general silica packets in a sealed container are best practice whether in a capsule or not).
