Just the correct length to make small corrections to the differences in shower head sizes. There is some small play in the two swivel adjustments when locked into place, but once set up it is OK. The brushed nickel surface looks good and time will tell how good it holds up. Good value.

This happens to be a good product and it is very easy to install. If you have chrome fixtures in your shower this will be right for you.

This 16” heavy brushed nickel extension is perfect for a shower head and the size is on point! Its durable quality gives you the ability to raise and lower with ease. The product came with washers and plumbers tape to help with seal. The water flow and pressure were not affected in any way. This has further extended our rain head away from the wall shower head and made our shower more functional and enjoyable.Side note: we had the 12” that was purchased about 4 years ago and have moved that one to another bathroom, that extension still looks new!

I needed my shower head raised about ten inches in order to install one of those shower filters (useless) and this arm extension was absolutely perfect! Installed easily and securely in about ten minutes.I highly recommend.

I am short & have arthritic shoulders. So I needed my shower head lower so that I could adjust the direction of flow, etc. I also decided I should get a handheld shower head. The one I chose is large & has a docking portion and a metal hose. It is heavy enough that this extender will not support it in my chosen position. After just a few showers, the upper adjustment has failed allowing the docked handheld shower head to flop down & is now too low & is too close to the wall. My 6’ son ( black belt in JuiJitsu ) was unable to tighten it enough to keep it in the correct position. I’m disappointed. This would probably be acceptable for a small lightweight shower head. I’ll have to get a different extension.

Use Case: I added a small bath in the attic with a 7 foot ceiling. The shower stall height was a few inches short of 7 feet so I didn’t have room to use a regular 6 inch curved shower arm.Pros: This product (paired with a straight 3 inch shower arm) was perfect in maximizing the height of the shower spray nozzle!Cons: The outside diameter of the washers are slightly too small and when tightening the product onto the shower arm, the washers slip into the pipe and block the full flow of water. I took the washer out but then the connection between the shower arm and the product has a leak. I love the product and won’t return it, but I’ll have to find a more suitable washer for the connection.Conclusion: ***This is NOT a flimsy plastic piece!!!*** Great product, excellent value, beefy and durable construction. Only rated as 4 stars to account for the issue with the washer and the extra work I have to do.

This device is beautiful; wonderful engineering.It is smaller than it seemed while buying; which is a good thing.Gorgeous finish. No leaks. Get it!1st screw into wall a little firmly.The challenge is to end tightened up, in lined-up position.You do this by rotating entire unit around to last time it can make it all the way around.Then, to adjust the 2 different angle options (by trial and error), you have to gently pull joint apart after slightly loosening; it grips with teeth!Always do 1 joint at a time.These 2 angle folding adjustments do not have to be tightened hard; it won't leak.Plus, if you don't over-tighten, you can continue to make fine-tune adjustments until its angle is perfect for you. Infinite possibilities!Install your choice of shower head lastly.Don't over-tighten head; it's never under "hold pressure" and too tight is the #1 reason why it leaks there.You never use Teflon tape here, as the seal comes from an internal washer or o-ring; much like your garden hose.But I like a gushing flood of therapeutic massage by having no head occasionally; try it!Yeah, baby, drain that water heater in 5 minutes!I say fie on those 1.8 gallon per minute heads.And don't get me started on 1.5 gallon flush toilets, huh?Finaly, after installing, never pull or push on it hard; its new leverage potential can now snap your pipe coming out of the wall like a twig!
