I use this laser all the time to point out stars and planets while doing Sidewalk Astronomy. Very powerful. Easily visible even in light-polluted areas.

The laser is quite bright, and reflects off most walls enough that you don't want to look right at where it's pointed. Pretty easy to use, although the battery doesn't last super long. Still, for a cheap green laser, it's good quality.

I haven’t had to charge it yet. Makes cool patterns, and is a very strong single beam. Careful where you use it.

GREEN LASER - I have now purchased about 15 of these to place in vehicles and 'Go-Bags'. Batteries maintain a charge. Excellent for 'Self-Defense' and/or location identification, at night. Worth the money, if for nothing other than peace of mind.

I use these in emergency packs while hiking. The laser works great, powerful, but the case is made of plastic. Feels very cheap, battery life is only about 30 minutes. Not the best laser on the market but it’s inexpensive

I have an expensive green laser that I was looking to find a spare for. I bought this one on a whim just because. I did not think I would like all the pretty star patterns - I wanted it for SERIOUS use after all- but the star patterns are fine. it charges quicker and easier than my expensive one, and it weighs less.and the star patterns are fun, actually.
