These animals are appealing if you want to learn crocheting or if you are experienced. My two nieces received this kit and are having fun. It comes with a video and written instructions. Quality yarn and supplies. I am very pleased with this kit.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my niece. She is a beginner so I wanted her to have something beginner friendly and fun. She loves the set and is excited about learning and hopefully moving to bigger projects.

Definitely cute, but NOT for someone brand new to crochet. The yarn frays so easy, the hook is tiny, so the stitches are tiny. And the videos are basically google translated voice over, they are a bit rough.Prior to doing this, I did a Wooble one and it was sooooo much better for a newbie.
