Not a plumber and just the regular old guy but by tub was a need of some freshening up and that’s what I bought this for. Was easy to use and the tub looks much better with this shiny new silicone around it. So far it seems like it seals. Great. Would recommend it.

Loctite Polyseamseal worked better for me than anything used previously. I handle a lipstick well but caulking.....another story. I got so frustrated trying to squeeze product out that I thought hopeless.I decided to replace the cap and stick tube in large mug of hot water standing it up. After about 15 minutes I was able to successfully get the job done by using both hands. Smoothed with finger every 3inches as I went along. Turned out looking good. Hopefully this will stay put, obviously another branddid not.

This is the best caulk for use when not painting over it and silicone might not be the best option. The appearance is somewhat glossy, the white does not yellow over time and it is easy to smooth/clean with wet finger or rag. Highly recommend.

If you use this product correctly you'll never have a leak. Easy to use,easy clean up, perfect seal.Problem is that Home Depot no longer carries this product. All they have is messy silicone sealants and I was excited to find it on Amazon. As a professional tile and stone mason for 15 years plus I've done anything from a $50 repair to a $5,000,000 home.I never had to go back to any of my tile jobs to do any repair work. Even for a failed sealant.I highly recommend this polyseam seal for any caulking job. It's even paintable for the guys that do wood trim. Clear works great for countertops and backsplashes. Easy water clean up and cures in one day.Not much more I can say other than great stuff.
