I’ve been dealing with this leak for nearly half a year just waiting till our landlord decides to stop by. The leak stopped with just this wrap and I couldn’t be more than happy. It’s worth it. Not sure how long it’ll last but hopefully this helps our problem till they decide to show up.

I have had issues with leaky pipes under my sink for a while, and everything I've tried a number of different things with no real lasting effect. This tape is fantastic because it stretches to provide a tight water seal, and it is easy to apply. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny. It has saved me a lot of hassle, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it again if I ever encounter another leak.

This absolutely has been best fix for my pipes under the kitchen sink. It stretches, easy to apply and self seals its self.

Bought this specifically because it mentions under-sink leaks. My kitchen sink has a slow drip leak underneath - not trying to save the Titanic here.I left the sink unused overnight so everything was completely dry, used paper towels to make sure the area around the drainpipe was completely dry. Wrapped the entire roll of this tape around the leak area, stretching it according to the instructions. It looked great, seemed like it would work... turned on the water, and .... drip, drip, drip. Rats.

Bottom line this works as described. I had a leak in my sink. It was coming from the drain. Water was spreading out onto the underside of the sink and dripping down. There wasn't a lot of water. I could feel the water on the underside of the sink, so it must have been coming from where the drain pipe and the sink meet. (I looked at an image of a drain and there are several locks, gaskets, etc that could have been causing the problem.) There was nothing that felt like I could tighten it by hand, so my choice was to get a plumber or.... get a plumber, as I don't have the tools or expertise to take on the job myself. I looked into other options involving various forms of smelly epoxy type stuff that would take days to cure and thought no. The good part about trying the tape is that it is not a big investment in either time or money. As you can see from the photo, I didn't do the most elegant job. The tape is hard to work with although the instructions are decent. I probably wasted a lot of tape trying to build up to where the drain met the sink. I wound up using the entire roll! But it actually seems to be holding nicely. It's been a few days and no more tell tale signs of yucky drain water on the bottom or landing on my cleaning supplies.Theoretically, the way it fuses and feels like rubber, I think it will hold.I don't know how long it will last, but for now this is 5 stars. I would recommend reading the instructions before you attempt to apply. There is a learning curve so if it is a big job, get more than one roll.Updated to add: Having purused the reviews, and based on my experience, it's clear this product does an excellent job on low pressure drain pipes, especially to seal joints. It really creates a tight rubber-like seal like a gasket or washer. If you using it for some other purpose, your mileage may vary.Second update in September '23 -- This continues to hold perfectly. No leak! I live in NYC where even a small amount of moisture under the sink could contribute to big problems like roaches, so for me this stuff has been a lifesaver and has my vote for best small purchase I've made all year!

Picture this:Kitchen sink won’t drain. The ancient metal pipe is corroded and splits open when I try to unscrew it.I let everything dry out. Then I applied the tape. It isn't sticky. But you stretch it as you wind it and makes a solid tight seal. After I put it on, I had to use a plunger to clear the blockage.I was worried that the pressure created by the plunger might dislodge the tape.No worries. It held beautifully.Water drains and nothing leaks.Get the picture?

It really helped me to fix a leak under my kitchen wing. Water was leaking from AbS pipe thread.

There was a small crack at the garden hose connector, and we used the tape to wrap it, and it worked good, no more water leak.

this saved me! whoever installed the garbage disposal before i moved in didn't use the right size pipes & the elbow joint to the wall was slightly off causing a leak. i used this product, and found it easy to do in 2 foot strips that i stretched over the problem spot & wound the tape onto itself. it gripped on well. 3 months later, and i still haven't had a leak

Worked as stated but very difficult to use in small spaces. Having to stretch the tape to use it is a negative.

it will work -- it is just difficult to get the tape around some areas without it sticking to itself. Also, it is basically for low pressure drain pipe uses I believe.
