Two of the 4 were great, the other 2 have something wrong with the threads and won't screw into anything.

Great Loc-Line quality that I always expect. Works great, but the photo is the wrong color. The ones I received are the standard orange, but are mechanically identical.

After watching Adam Savage make his new workbench light, I wanted to make a similar phone holder/charger for my bedside. This threaded fitting works great for screwing into iron pipe fittings, so the arm is very solid!

I used this in a "helping hands" project. This connector was screwed into a drilled and tapped cutting board, about 15" of loc-line snapped on, and a small alligator clip attached to the other end. I currently have five "helping hands" coming out of the same . The cutting board was drilled and then tapped with .For my use, the cheap knockoffs work pretty well too, but I haven't peel hot glue off the yet or hit them with a soldering iron.. The loc-line brand is tough quality stuff though that that I have dripped hot glue onto, have dripped solder onto, and have bumped with the hot end of a soldering iron. The loc-line stuff is still fine.

So like an idiot, I didn't read the whole description and didn't realize the threads on this were 1/8" NPT instead of 1/4" NPT. I skimmed the title and saw 1/4" and NPT and assumed I had the right part. Fortunately for what I was using this for, this isn't a big deal and I just got an adapter at my local home improvement store and it worked quite well.
