Good for coolant spray in machine shop for older machines without coolant abilities.

I mounted this to a 3 wheel cab grinder and use a weed sprayer with 3/8” tubing for the water supply. I’ll be getting another 1 or two for other machines

Can’t seem to get it to not flood no matter how I adjust it.

I originally bought the plastic flex tube version of this product for my mill, and it works well enough. When I went to add a mist coolant to my lathe, I figured I'd splurge on this metal flex tube version -- and I'm glad that I did.The plastic flex pipe doesn't make a perfect air seal, so it requires a little more air pressure to get enough venturi effect to draw the liquid through the tube. The metal tube has no air leakage at all so allows you to use slightly less air pressure/volume for the same liquid draw. Also, the metal tube is of course much less likely to be damaged by hot swarf coming off the mill or lathe (although that hasn't been a problem -- yet -- with my mill's plastic tube version.)One slight downside of the metal pipe version is that the pipe is considerably harder to bend. Although you might consider that a feature/benefit, as once it's bent it will definitely stay where you put it.

I do not like that the pictures show the wrong diameter for one of the tubes and they change terminology for the tube in the pictures also. In picture 4 they label the 4mm hose as the intake pipe. In picture 5 they label the 4mm hose diameter as being 5mm diameter. ( I still have 3M of 5mm hose I have yet to find a use for as proof) In picture 7 in step one they call the 4mm hose the inlet tube and in step 2 they label the 8mm hose as the intake pipe but this contradicts the label established in picture 4. This is confusing for the customer if they already know they are going to need more hose than the 1.5M provided with the instrument. The actual device works well and I highly recommend over the koolmist's 150 dollar piece of crap that they offer. koolmist broke in a week and this thing is still going strong 7 months later. I took an empty 5 gallon coolant bucket (the kind that have the small screw on lid that pulls out a plastic tube that you can pour out of the bucket with) pressed a hole in the small lid cap and ran the 4mm inlet tube through it into the bucket. Makes refilling super easy. I run a horizontal boring machine and I just keep it on the back of the spindle housing above the spindle lock lever. I have the tube ran over the top and I have 3/16" X 3" plate that I c-clamp the device to and then I c-clamp the 3" plate to the Y axis lock. It works amazingly well. Sometimes I wish I could get it to stream a liquid but when you really open it up the mist becomes quite heavy, honestly I have a hard time keeping it light enough it does such a good job.

This works great. I'm a machinist and use spray mist daily. This works just as good as the noga and cool mist, bit much cheaper. I've also used cutting oil with it and also works just as good.

This unit worked very well. I modified the mounting hole to take a large magnet base from a dial indicator, and this unit now is awesome .

The nozzle is hard to bend and moves on its own so it does not stay in place.Update: If you remove the liner in the hose then it will move and stay in place. But make sure you attach the fluid hose back up on the inside.
