Was looking for kitchen scissors that didn’t rust. Stainless steel scissors are the answer. They conveniently come apart so there is no food that can stick between the blades. Great find! Highly recommend.

Sharp and easy to clean. Single metal construct, sturdy, no plastic parts means easy to wash and not worry about trapped liquid anywhere, can just stick in dishwasher as well but handwashing only takes a minute. Best thing I bought to cut up tough meat.

I like how it’s designed to come apart easily making it easier to clean. Unlike other kitchen shears, this design allows you to clean literally the entire gadget. Other shears do not easily come apart (unless you go through the trouble to unscrew it) not allowing you to clean underneath where it’s fastened together. It’s made of strong rust resistant stainless steel and will last for a lifetime. Very well made. Practical design for easy cleaning. I will never have to buy another kitchen shears again...unless I decide to buy more for gifts. 😊

If you found these, you probably already know exactly what you're looking for. I wanted solid stainless shears that came apart for easy cleaning. These things are super sharp, have a good heft to them, and a great warranty. No plastic handles to degrade and snap over time, and I can toss them right in the dishwasher. I'm very pleased with these, and they're affordable.

I’ve been using them for months, they’re sturdy, disassemble to make cleaning easier, haven’t rusted and they cut smoothly. You could do a lot worse than these for the price. If you’re looking for an easy to use pair of scissors they’re great for food or packaging.

I purchased these heavy-duty kitchen shears, and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. So far they work great. Plenty sharp, very sturdy, a bit heavy and easy to take apart. The handles are plenty big with no sharp corners, which is good since not all scissors work well with big hands. Has a groove for cutting through bone, but haven't tested that yet.The only down side is they can sometimes come apart unintentionally if opened wide, but that applies to all scissors with this type of hinge and you get use to it. Easy cleaning is worth it imo. Love that cleaning is as easy as turning the handles perpendicular and pulling them apart. Clean them like a set of knives, makes for easy sharpening too.No rust so far and feels/looks/sounds like stainless to me, which was one of my biggest worries due to some of the comments. Says it's 420J2 stainless steel, which should be rather rust resistant (not rust proof fyi). Though I'm curious how long it stays sharp since it's a softer steel. This is one of the cheapest types of stainless steel that can still call itself a knife steel so it isn't the best, but it gets the job done and is still better than a lot of other metals used for scissors. Plus better steel that stays extra sharp would come at a higher price along with tradeoffs like easier to rust/chip and a less shiny surface due to lower chrome content.

I've owned these for almost 2 years now and I'm very happy with my purchase! They do the main job I bought them for extremely well - they chop through anything I've attempted to cut very easily (meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, spring onions, packaging etc), as well as having little extra features that make them even more useful.In particular I've found the little bits sticking out of the tops of the handles surprisingly handy, in the video they're shown being used to open a can, and I have done this once on a can where the ring pull broke off, but I mainly use them to lever under the edge of jar lids to "pop" the airtight seal, which makes them *so* much easier to open! I have a medical issue which has led to muscle wastage, so jars can be hard to open sometimes, but when I break the seal this way there are very few jars which defeat me! They're also very useful for any other levering tasks around the kitchen (e.g. opening tins with flat "pop out" lids, like golden syrup and custard powder), and without risk of bending the ends of your cutlery or whatever you might use instead!They come apart very easily for cleaning; possibly the only criticism would be that they come apart so easily they sometimes do it when I've just opened them a little too far, but this hasn't been a major issue, as they're so easy to put back together on the rare occasion this does happen. We usually wash them in the dishwasher, but when I've only used them for something like herbs I sometimes just give them a thorough rinse under the tap and they come clean extremely easily.The blades have remained sharp despite them now being almost 2 years old, and they haven't rusted or become stiff to use. The scissors feel extremely sturdy and well made.Highly recommended!

Zero complaints!...well almostI bought these meat shears to replace a pair of random scissors I had used for the longest time and were surprisingly able to do most of the things that I wanted and needed to do in the kitchen, except for cutting through meat... so I figured when my handles broke off of the old scissors that I would go ahead and upgrade to actual meat shears.In spite of being very sharp, It's super easy to clean safely either by hand with a brush or you can stick it in the dishwasher. I was concerned that the feature that allows you to take the two blades apart to use individually as knives would perhaps be loose and come apart as I was using them like scissors, but that wasn't the case at all. I use them primarily as scissors to chop up just about anything you can think of while cooking. I've cut into chicken bones I have cut into steak, Pizza, hot dogs, bacon packaging, broccoli, rosemary, sage, onions... And it did great!It feels sturdy has a nice weight to it without being too heavy or making my hand feel tired, which would happen when I would use shears that had the spring mechanism in the middle and I love that it has a bit of a vintage feel to it which looks nice in my retro inspired kitchenOne downside is that part of the description was its ability to open up a bottle... Perhaps I'm missing something in the technique but the part of the scissors that are described as being able to do that is shaped and smoothed in such a way that I find it rather difficult to do that... rather than pop open the bottle top it shattered the glass so I couldn't recommend using that part... There is a myriad of other ways to open up a bottle top though, so it really isn't a primary concern of mine...That section has been great for popping the tail off of shrimp though! ... and I could see how it would be easy to use for cracking nuts... The individual blades are not so great for skinning potatoes but excellent for everything else I mentioned and similar... That again could be down to technique.Overall I love these so much and use them for every meal I cook multiple times everyday... I would definitely recommend these shears and I'm thinking of gifting a few😍 ✂️👌🏾

Well, heed the reviews, folks. These are super sharp, and I prefer sharp knives and scissors, always keeping them sharpened and honed for every use. I was not expecting this level of sharpness though. It rivals my benriner mandolin slicer, which has a 6" razor blade for cutting cabbage and other hard veggies. I wear a special glove to use that, and it would be a good idea to invest in a cut resistant glove to use these if you intend to cut meat, because your finger is meat to meat scissors. There was an unfortunate accident in my home from these within 30 seconds of them being opened, and recovery has been ongoing for over a month, involving grafting.... I'm not joking. Not the scissors' fault; remember to give these their due respect and do not let anyone who is unaware use them. I store them with the blades apart so that they have to be assembled to use them, which prevents anyone from using them hastily. That few seconds of pause is pretty necessary. Have another pair for cutting open packages and cutting herbs; these cut through small bones, and they don't pause at all for flesh. You've been warned.
