These are good kitchen shears for what you pay. Don't expect them to be on par with a $400 Zwilling chef's knife though. They cut well, and don't feel like a total piece of junk though.

We bought this item to replace one lost in a move. It provides the same high quality and although awe eventually found th lost pair, it's nice to have that second pair.

The best brand and product line. These stay sharp, are easy to sharpen if needed, and are durable. I know zwilling Henkel twin products are more expensive than many other brands, but it’s worth it. I’ve had my knife set for more than 10 years, and only just now had to replace the shears after my husband attempted to use them to cut through a piece of metal with them (🤦🏼♀️ don’t ask…I have my own questions about the thought process….). If and when I need to buy another set, I will stick with this brand. I can get a year out of cuisinart, or go with this brand and have it last for 10+ years and still perform wonderfully- it’s a no brainer. You get what you pay for, and you are getting quality here.

My old pair twin J.A. Henckels finally got the point where they weren't working so well. Kind of bent, warped. So after 15 years I finally replaced them with the exact same pair for my set of knives. They work great, sharp as a razor. Good to have the exact same scissors that I've been using for all this time back in my scissors block. Recommended.

These are the best kitchen scissors I’ve ever used. The old pair that I have from twenty years ago has a hand grip surface that I prefer, but these new ones work every bit as well. It’s worth the money to get a pair of scissors that will last a lifetime. I only ordered a replacement pair because of misplacing my old ones when we moved.

Many, many years ago I was gifted a Henckels knife set in a butcher block that had these scissors. After a while the handle of one kept slipping off and you had to slide it back on. Now, they have a lifetime warranty, but I knew in order to take advantage of that they would want me to send them my scissors. I loved these scissors I didn't want to be parted from them. I used them for everything from cutting apart a raw chicken to cutting wrapping paper. They're dishwasher safe and I am in love with them.Finally, one day, I bought a second pair. Then I sent my first pair in and they either repaired them or sent me new ones. I don't know. All I know is I haven't had trouble with either pair now.My daughter moved, got her first apartment. We bought standard, mostly cheaper to mid-range stuff but I bought her these scissors. Because these scissors are the best. Seriously. Buy a pair. I don't get a kickback. I'm just doing you a good turn. Then, once you use them, go ahead and tell other people, "This chick on Amazon was right. So, now I'm telling YOU to buy these scissors."

I had the same product for 10 years without any rusting. This one started to show rusting almost right away.

I am very pleased with these shears. I did use them to cut a whole chicken. Specialized Poultry shears would work best for spatchcocking, but, I did a quick test use and cut up a whole small 4 lbs chicken- these did well. I don't think they would be right for Turkey. I am left-handed and they are comfortable. the blades are sharp definitely and multi-purpose shear ( I am keeping my for food- trimming fat off meat & chickens, and can cut a fishtail or head?) they have a nice tight the blades move well when in use not too tight or loose.* I will Hand Wash and Towel Dry after use- although scissors say dishwasher safe many don't release that the rusting of cutlery can be caused by stainless steel or other metals coming into contact with silver cutlery. Also When flatware is left wet in the sink, in the dishwasher, or on the counter, acid from food residue can erode the finish and cause rust stains or pitting. This often happens when cutlery is not dried immediately after washing but is left to air dry in the sink tray or dishwasher. As far as my recommendation: At this time I do recommend these shears.
