Update- I used the badge holder this week. And overall it it still a sturdy badge holder. I had 3 badges in it all week. If you are planning to put it on a lanyard, in addition to my original review about the narrow lanyard attachment, you may find that it is too heavy to hang on a retractable string. I used this on a retractable string and it is so heavy that it kept pulling the string.Original- Really nice and sturdy. Holds multiple badges. However if you are planning to clip this to a lanyard (not use the belt clip)…you may have some struggles. The piece at the top where the lanyard attaches is very small, interior width less than 0.5 in. Im having to put it on a split key ring in order to attach it to the retractable string on my lanyard. Annoying. More junk to jingle on my lanyard

Great badge holder and very stong. Easy to remove badge and also use with badge in holder. I notice that the internal spring clip was making marks on the back of my badge. In case this could create long term damage to my badge, simple solution for me is to add at least a couple business cards between the spring clip and badge

This is able to hold 2 proximity access cards and my work ID in the main compartment so they are secure.The rounded edges of the holder are nice and doesn't dig in when you are sitting.Great!

The main reason behind purchasing this product was the design. Why the design of this item stands out amongst similar items is because the connection to the key ring holder is metal and that makes a huge difference. Metal to plastic causes failure which most of the other similar products carry. Also my previous card holder was made out of plastic. Once it fell down on the ground then quickly broke off from the key ring holder and became useless.

I had been using the plastic ID holders, a 5 pack of the over the pocket kind, and while they lasted well over a year, I went through every one of them in that time. When I got to that last one, I was about to order another set and managed to come across this beauty. I figured I’d give it a try, and it is fantastic. While I can’t speak to the overall sturdiness of the metal clip, as I generally throw it in my shirt pocket, I can say when I do clip it on, it holds on tight, and I have never had a concern.The sturdiness of the case is great as when I take it off, I can throw it in my car console and never worry about it warping or cracking from the heat. The front is crystal clear, even clearer than the previous ones I used. What I can say about the clip is it has a part at the top you can use to attach it to a lanyard, or whatever else you want to hang it from, mostly.I’m hoping this holder lasts a very, very long time.

I bought this months ago before giving it a review, because I wanted to see how it would hold up in my line of work. I work in receiving, so I'm constantly using my badge every day in a warehouse environment (constant banging around, using machinery, moving pallets, etc). I've gone through many normal badge holders, and they only last me a few months before ripping apart.But I decided to give this one a try and it's still holding up. The only thing that has broken off is the plastic clip, but the important bits are still together. Holds my badge card well, doesn't fall out as well as my other cards. The pocket clip is strong and has a good grip on my sleeve. I like that the screen is clear enough so I can scan my badge without having to take it out. So far no signs of cracks or splits. Some paint has flaked off but that's expected. Overall this is great, will buy again when this one needs replacing.
