I got so sick of my badge reels breaking, especially as a teacher. This has been perfectly serving me for 6 months, and I can hold all of my keys and tags on it without it pulling. Less one star because it didn't have a belt clip like product description images imply.

Very strong pull. Does not feel flimsy at all. Will hold my entire key pack that consists of ore than 50 keys/ small tools.

It came in a 2 pack so I figured it’d break pretty quick. It initially felt cheaply made but it’s held up great for a couple of months now, and I have several keys on it and have to extend it a dozen times a day or more. It’s still snappy and works like new. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is because the little plastic snap piece that attaches an ID badge is hooked to it in a way that it has to be cut off if you don’t plan to use it.

I bought these for my daughter and I who had purchased purses that did not have a leash for your car keys built in. I put the plastic snap end around my keyring and attached the clip to the ring on the outside of my purse that the strap is attached to. Since my purse has a flap top, it is easy to grab the clip and slip my keys out of the corner, even with the flap down and the wire stretches far enough to easily slip my keys into my door and unlock it without having to lift my purse up or juggle everything to reach the lock. I would even use this with purses that have key leashes as most do not stretch far enough so that you can leave your purse hanging from your arm and still reach the door lock with your keys. I know it sounds like a silly problem, but if you are loaded down with a laptop bag, lunchbox, mail, etc., it is really nice to be able to unlock your front door with one hand. It would be a great ID badge holder, which is what it was made for, but I don't often wear pants with belt loops. I have enjoyed repurposing it as a key leash for my purse. It is well made and of good quality. I am sure it could be used for other purposes I haven't yet thought of.
