This is real easy to use. It charges the battery to full in about 2 hours. So far it hasn't gotten hot at all. Good quality for the price.

I honestly wouldn't bother. I regret buying this thing. If you're like me and are new to the hobby, you may also not know that a 10w charger is painfully slow. A 3500ish 2s lipo is going to take you upwards of 8-10 hours to charge. Just spend the $60 and get yourself a 100-150+ watt charger and have your batteries up and running in a couple hours. Winter is coming and if you aren't planning on using your LiPos you're going to need a charger that puts your lipos in "storage mode" or ruin them, a feature this charger does not offer.

I bought this as a substitute charger for my 3S LiPos, and despite seeing some negative reviews, I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it works wonderfully! It does get warm, and there was a moment when it shut off because it got too hot. However, that was my fault since I charged it in a LiPo bag and didn’t allow proper ventilation. Not sure if it had overheat protection or not, but this thing is amazing for the price! Be aware that it only charges at 800ma max so for the people saying this charges slow, ya'll probably have huge batteries and therefore need a bigger charger, this charges my 650mah lipo at the expected speed.

This thing is really handy and does a nice job on the batteries it balances them like it should and quickly but, there's always a butt lol. But, you are limited to charging only one size battery or should I say one type of battery the plug is not universal.
