this charge cord has no voltage regulator. It is simply a USB plug with a wire that goes to the connector. The voltage at the connector is the same as the USB outlet voltage. In order to prevent battery damage to a 3.7 volt battery, the voltage should be regulated to not be more than 4.2 volts.

I use this for my C10 remote control airplane I lost the connection when I purchased it off the original package saw this one with two different connection it has the indicated light red showing it's charging so far so good no issues good product
