This bird travel bag is really well-designed—it's sturdy yet lightweight. Inside, there's a perch stand so my bird can relax comfortably during trips. It's roomy enough for a small or medium-sized bird, but it may not work for my three sun conures if there's only one perch. The waterproof pads are nice—they make cleanup super easy. However, if there is mesh on the pad, the birds can avoid stepping in poop and getting their paws dirty. I like that it has multiple entry points and secure closures for peace of mind, keeping my bird safe throughout the journey. One drawback is that the two clear sides are a little weak to support the bag.

We have a large flock of pet birds, as we operate a parrot rescue. Transporting birds is necessary for vet visits or bringing home birds that need a foster home. This carrier is not very big, and the pics show an African Gray in there- but they photoshopped it smaller than it would be unless a very young juvenile bird. For a conure, this is about the right side but an adult conure tail will be touching the floor from the perch. Not a big deal, but just to give an idea over size. The plastic sides allow great visibility, but when coming out of the package it's difficult to get the plastic to straighten out from being folded over for shipping. Leaving it out in the sun for a while will solve the problem. It's surprisingly good quality for such a low price.Aside from taking birds to the vet, these are great to have ready to go in case of a problem for emergency evacuation- we keep a carrier under each cage, so if there's a problem with the house (fire, smoke, unexpected fumes, etc.) we can quickly get the birds out and into fresh air. This is excellent for that, as the wide door on one end means quick loading and out the door. This carrier is remarkably inexpensive for the quality. It has decent ventilation if you leave the flaps open, but watch for chewing on the mesh screens- they are durable, but any bird left unattended long enough could damage the mesh. There are higher end carriers out there, but not anywhere near this price point. One improvement they should consider would be a way to cover the clear sides to reduce stress for some birds who aren't used to travel.

Its a nice looking carrier but its very flimsy zipped or unzipped. Which makes it hard to zip it up majority of the time. Also the floor mat which im assuming it is doesn't really fit and my bird can't really grip it which causes him to slide sometimes.
