LifeStraw Go Series is the ultimate sidekick for safer, better-tasting water for travel and everyday use. The stainless steel BPA-free bottle filters out nasties, so you can fill up from airport bathrooms, a tap in Mexico, or a gas station while road-tripping. The advanced 2-stage filter improves taste and protects against bacteria, parasites, microplastics, chlorine, silt, sand, and cloudiness. The double wall vacuum insulation keeps your water cool all day. Do good on the go and avoid single-use plastic bottles. For every purchase, a child in need receives safe drinking water for a year.

Used this on canoe trip. Great for having water 24/7. Also works great if you work in a rural area with well water.

Honestly, we don’t need a filtration thermo for the US. Clean water is so readily available. But if you’re going camping or abroad and know that you’ll need a filtration device, this is really well made. All the parts are solid, fit well, and are well designed. Over all it’s an excellent example of a well made and well designed product that’s worth the premium. Just understand that it’s usefulness is very specific.

I like this water bottle a lot. I also have the plastic version from lifestraw but I prefer the stainless steel. It does not leak as my plastic one does if turned on its side. I love that it does not leak! I also love the filter concept. One thing I don’t like is that I read that lifestraw uses lead in the manufacturing process of its stainless steel water bottles. It supposedly does not come into contact with the inside of the water bottle though, so it’s not supposed to be able to leach into the water. As long as the bottle is not damaged, I think it is safe. I hope so but wish that lifestraw wouldn’t use lead at all in the manufacturing process.

Have to sip pretty hard to get the water through the filter. If you're in any type of elevation, airplane, going over a mountain pass, when you open the lid water pours out the top. You have to suck quickly. I have found that it is also very heavy. Wouldn't want to carry this a long ways.

Love that I can drink any water from any source. Only negative is it doesn’t get the last inch of water because filter doesn’t reach to the bottom.

I brought this with me on a trip to Egypt where you can’t drink the water and in some locations even bottled water might be sketchy. I have a sensitive stomach and wanted to be extra careful. I poured all my bottled water into this and never got sick.

I purchased one of these for myself to use on a trip to taiwan. It was amazing! I was able to fill it up anywhere without worrying of the water would make me sick. I read the other reviews about water coming up out of the top from pressure build up. Not an issue if you blow a little air into it. I did this before boarding the plane and had no issues. Loved it so much I ordered this insulated one for my son.

The water bottle, holding 18 ounces or 530 milliliters, impressed me with its filtration system. I consulted my engineer cousin, who specializes in water treatment, and she praised its dual-step membrane filtration and carbon filter. While it might not rival industrial systems like reverse osmosis, it's highly effective for on-the-go water purification. In terms of build, the bottle is sturdy but manageable, with a weight that's noticeable but not burdensome. Despite its internal bulkiness, it maintains a sleek, slim profile externally, making it easy to carry. Plus, it comes with both filters included, although it's worth noting that the carbon filter needs replacing every two months, especially for those drinking water with higher contaminants.Using it daily in Canada, I found it reliable and convenient. Just be sure to follow the instructions for first-time use, and you'll have a great water bottle on hand.
