A little harder to use one handed than anticipated. Not quite enough leverage to get all sizes of rivets done without using two hands. But smaller ones can be done with one hand so that is beneficial.

I bought this to fix a knife I had purchased, and it worked perfectly. It comes in a handy case that keeps all of the pieces organized. My first time using it took a few minutes of tinkering, and I was off and running. I think it's quite easy to use, and the value that you get with this package is pretty unbeatable.

I have been wanting one of these tools for quite some time. They come in super handy when building something in the shop. It is super easy to install the nut to the substrate. I love the variety of sizes this tool comes with so there is a nut the perfect size for the project you are working on. Can't believe I didn't get one of these sooner.

I've been fabrickamakin' for over 3 decades now, and I never used, or researched, rivet nuts. I was aware of their existence - but I just kept following the same sheep over the same cliff. I have pop rivet guns, and use them occasionally, but if I'm going to rivet something and disassembly would require grinding - I'm probably just going to weld it. I have drilled more than a few holes and welded on nuts - I'm sure that'd be a 4 digit number if I could count 'um. I'm happy to say that I'm happy to have this rivet nut gun. I've ordered a bunch more rivet nuts - kinda like cashews - can't just eat one handful. Be careful they're hard on the fillings. I've done a bunch of 'spearminting with this - super easy to use and is well built. I read a few reviews when I got the gun – about a month ago – I saw somebody said they destroyed the gun. They pulled the arbor straight through the nut. Boggles my brain – I can't see how that would be possible with this gun if you are using it according to instructions and have the right size guide / nut. I don't know – I digress. This rivet nut gun works well, does a beautimus clean job, and is definitely a handy tool to have for the right applications. I just finished a battery box for a 72 volt lithium battery I built for a Low Speed Vehicle (Gem Car). The car originally used Lead Acid batteries and the battery compartment provided adequate weather protection for lead acid batteries. My shop made lithium with open cells needed more protection. The space my battery needed to fit in is small and the box requires partial disassembly to remove and install the bank. Rivet nuts – Boom! Perfect. Didn't have to get the welder, gun worked great, and it all looks beautiful.Be aware this is a small rivet nut gun – it only goes up to 1/4”. They do make larger though and I'm hoping to get one of those. Maybe this one'll get bigger when it gets older.7 Super Novas for The LIBRATON 9.5" Rivet Nut Tool ~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~

This is not just a cheap rivet gun that you hope to get a couple uses out of before it breaks or stops working. This is a quality tool that feels great in the hand and has decent grips on the handles. The case is nice as it has a place to store all the mandrels which this one has 8 metric. The nose pieces are stored on the gun like others. There is even extra room for rivets and caps. They give you extra little bags to keep them in also. Back to the case it is secured closed with latches, yes they are plastic but the fact they a latches and not just some snap closure is impressive if you ask me, that or that there is a case period. The rivet gun has larger handles which definitely make it easier to set your rivets. Changing the mandrel is fast and easy as you dont need any extra tools to do so, making for time savings and that means more money in my line of work. A rivet tool is one of those tools that I dont use all the time but when you need one its the only tool that can work. This is a top notch set and I'm very happy with it. This one is replacing the inexpensive one that i got from HF. It was okay but no case and trying to keep everything together was a challenge and one of the reasons I got this one. Now everything is all together and I just have to grab the case and go, so much easier and faster. If you are getting your first rivet gun or looking to replace one I would definitely give this one a try, I dont think you will be disappointed.

This rivet nut tool crimped the rivet nut easily into a piece of wood I used. It comes in a case with resealable bags for the rivet nuts to be stored in. The instructions are on the slip cover on the case, but no instruction booklet. But, I guess after using a few times you should know what to do. The nose pieces are clearly marked and it's easy to use.

Put 29 6mm riv nuts in and on the 30th riv nut, the chrome hex head that you change out for different sizes pulled through the handle of the tool. Should have lasted longer than an hour, I would think.

Unit works as described. The carrying case is fine except no spot for the rivets and that will become an issue once opened. They are just thrown in with the tool in plastic bags. Instructions are adequate, but printed on a slip cover on the box. Hard to save and easy to just tear off when you get it. I cut them out and saved, but a booklet would be nice. The main thing I do not like it that you have to go out and find bolts to screw threw the rivets after install to secure. Kit should have come with those as well as rivets. An OK product, but looking more for a standard drive rivet setup.
