I have used it several times and works as expected

Very well built, feels solid in the hand, and easily adjustable for tension. The difference between this and a hand rivet gun is stunning. I wish I had discovered this unit decades ago. The fact that you can assure utterly repeatable tension, in seconds with zero effort is fantastic.

I have used several versions of the squeeze type tools. This device uses either a drill motor or a 1/4” wrench for the most precise setting of rivnuts. Never over tighten again. #SAE only

I’ve only used it once but it worked as advertised. I liked the compactness of it

Well built, solid construction. Sets the river nut quick and easy. Can get it into much tighter spots than the manual handle type units.

This thing sounds like a great idea. It lasted for about 5 uses, then the bearings inside grenaded and it was completely useless. Very cheaply made tool. DO NOT BUY THIS

I used it to put a few rivnuts in my car and it did the job well. These had to go in a very tight space where the manual type tool would not have fit. Plus it was easier than the manual tool.It seems pretty sturdy so while I do not expect to use it in the near future it’s nice to have in the garage. The only downside is I bought the kit with both metric and imperial attachments but the case only had slots for the metric ones. The additional ones will fit and the case closes just fine, but it’s a bit messy inside. I guess that’s fine as long as they do, so they don’t get lost. It going to dock them a star for that - price was very low so I’ll live with it.The suggestion to test run one was a good one. Practice makes perfect. You can’t really tell if they are fully tightened down just from the resistance on the tool since they need some force to fully lock into place without over-tightening them. There are a few versions of this kit out there besides the metric plus imperial. Other ones include the rivnuts which this one did not. I bought an assortment of those separately
