Received the “16inch “ RZX Rivet Nut Tool Blind riveter. today. Utilized it on my project at the time of the delivery as I was waiting to receive it.Awesome tool !All that was to be received was received . This is quality and will last for years with proper use.I read the negative reviews for the 17” and discounted them re breakage while using the tool. Seriously there are too many safety minded features in the manufacturing. This tool is made to use the correct rivet nut and not the hard carbon steel in a-hex shape. For those rivet application. it is best to use the hand tool with two large wrenches or a power drill method ,because you need the extra torque. When a re set up of the tool for a change of rivet size is need ,,the instructions have to be followed otherwise the front section will be damaged it has to be aligned and move freely and to be straight.Keep in mind anything can break if a well made tool is misused or not by following the correct procedures for the tool by just doing it without learning how to use a new tool. It has happened in the past and I paid for it by having to replace the tool. This tool will be appropriate for heavy duty only with the proper rivet nuts.I have not tried the 17” tool reviewed on the amazon review site but this 16” tool I purchased will not disappoint you and I totally recommend it. It is the perfect size.Five stars for the manufacturer and seller.Best

Worked better than I expected it to. Instructions are not much use, but with video and a little testing it worked great. Easier than I thought it would be. Good selection of nuts and tool was easy to use.

This works great solid tool, if you broke a die it’s your fault for not stoping once it’s fully crimped it’s so smooth and easy to crimp these down you have to be careful to stop when you feel resistance otherwise you break a die I haven’t broke one because I set the depth correct if you look at how this tool operates and test a crimp on nothing you will see how it needs to be set for that size crimp or rivnut whatever you want to call it, it’s not a rivet gun so it’s not going to “pop” off the tool when it’s done you have to unthread it but that’s self explanatory if you have eyes and look at the basic operation of the tool

WOULD RECOMMEND.The fit and finish of this tool is legitimate. It looks/feels very well made. Initially I experienced a problem with the #10-32 mandrel. It snapped on the 3rd rivnut (see pics).Note: I believe this failure to be MY FAULT due to using too much pressure. I didn't set the stroke (amount/distance the rivnut would be crushed) correctly. The #10-32 rivnut is relatively small and it requires VERY LITTLE crushing pressure (a very small stroke; 3-3.5mm so I learned the hard way) to secure the nut. Because my mandrel snapped I had no choice but to switch to the M5 which is nearly identical in size (bolt diameter). The nut actually is identical in diameter/length etc to the 10-32 nut.; just the inner threads are slightly different, metric obviously. I proceeded to use the M5 with 3 to 3.5mm of stroke and the tool performed flawlessly. The was my first experience with a rivnut tool and I was surprised to learn how little crimping/crushing force is required for the nut to grip the sheet metal hole. That being said, immediately after the #10-32 mandrel snapped I contacted the seller via Amazon on a Saturday afternoon (July 18, 2020) and I received a response within a couple hours. The nice lady instantly credited/refunded me the price of a replacement mandrel and provided a link directly to the product page. I placed an order for the replacement mandrel; it will arrive tomorrow. It was unfortunate that the component broke initially but it was fortunate that I found a suitable alternative due to the many other available mandrels in the kit. It is also fortunate that the seller is so responsive. This is how you earn and keep a good reputation and is a fine example of quality customer service. Well done, service lady (who's name starts with 'M').Note to seller: The instructions included with the product are a bit weak. This is not racquetball science (yes, I said, "racquetball" science) however it was not very clear how the mandrels are inserted/removed and the importance of adjusting the stroke is not mentioned nor is it explained well how to adjust. I would suggest adding an addendum or info card to the packaging for ordinary idiots like me. Perhaps include suggested stroke values for the various rivnut sizes; especially the smaller diameters as they can be fragile. Thanks for great customer service and a quality tool.WOULD RECOMMEND.

Received all parts and pieces brand new & intact, in new plastic bags. This is the only one I could find with 12 dies. covering the widest range of fasteners. I have ordered two additional dies for the #6 and #8 SAE sizes. The fact that it doesn't have a case is only a minor nuisance, as empty cases with foam blocking are less that the $30-$40 difference in price for the ones that do include a fitted case. (Which wouldn't have room for additional dies)Tooling seems good. When I tested the smallest metric size just running blank (Not in a hole) and over torqued it, it stripped the rivnut instead of the die, which is what I would want to happen. There is certainly a learning curve in using it properly, but that's the nature of this tool. Getting the feel for how much is enough is the user's responsibility, not the manufacturer's.Admittedly, the instructions leave a bit to be desired, but common sense and a little fiddling & searching can lead one down the path of enlightenment in regards to adjusting the stroke to the proper range to match the size fastener being used. The stroke gauge is there for a reason. (A feature some other brands do not have)If you over stroke a nut, yeah, you'll be disappointed and probably break something. Don't blame that on the seller or manufacturer.Learn how to use a tool correctly before complaining about it's quality.
