Don't bother, ok for thin rivets but even though you can use larger rivets it is almost impossible to stop the device from spinning.

Did not get one rivet in! Chucked into my cordless drill, had high hopes just to have them kicked in the groin. Some instructions might have helped but doubt it. That’s for a junk product!! If I could give you zero stars, I would.

It worked as advertised. Clockwise to tighten the rivet, counter clock-wise to expel rivet stem. Some people have reported the rivet end being stuck. I had that issue in the beginning, after which I cleaned it with alcohol as someone else did. Then it worked for a while. But it got stuck again. Then I used WD40, no issues since. I am using the largest head btw and aluminum rivets.

Looking for a cheap drill attachment for pop/blind rivets for occasional use? This will do the job.I’ve used this extensively on an outdoor home project with 3.4 and 4.0mm stainless steel rivets on a small Bosch battery drill and it basically works. You can’t use this to get in to tight spots - need a lot of clearance when connected to the drill, and you need both hands for the heavier rivets.I would highly recommend two things - first, take it apart/practice and familiarise yourself with how it works to pull and release the rivets - you don’t want to spin too far in the wrong direction. Second, and most important, don’t whack the drill up to high speed. If you overrun the pull range then the drill will be working against the structure of the attachment. It is reasonably robust, but it is inside a plastic casing. Get heavy handed with high speed and go to the end of the range for either pull or release and you will crack something.I would spend more if using this on a regular, frequent basis. But otherwise, taking care with what was essentially a very cheap, basic attachment, this item gets the job done and done well (enough).

Cheap but brilliant. It's cheaper than a manual riveter, so, if you already have a drill then this attachment is an amazing option.

Seems like a really good idea, but the unit I received will not release the used rivet pin without a complete breakdown of the collett assembly, making the product useless in real world scenarios... either a manufacturing or quality assurance fail for my particular unit, I suspect.
