I bought these for my kitchen remodel. The reason I went with these in particular is because they don't display any lights on them when they're working as they should, only a red light if tripped. This was important to me purely for aesthetic purposes. All 3 in the pack worked as they should. I was an electrician for about a decade so installation was straightforward to me, but, if you've never installed one before just make sure to put your incoming conductors on the line side. Any wires that lead downstream should be connected to the load side if you want the GFCI to protect those as well, otherwise connect them to the line side to have the downstream devices operate without GFCI protection. Just read the instructions that come with the outlets.

Despite the identical product numbering and packaging, the backwire arrangement for the new GFCI receptacle (on left, Type E stamped on metal frame) is less robust and harder to wire correctly if gravity isn't holding the relatively flimsy clip away from the contact surface. With the older arrangement (on right, Type A stamped on the frame) pressing on the contact's screw head opens up the extremely robust contact clamp to accept the wires, simple to do regardless of the receptacle's orientation while inserting wires. I'd give the previous version a "5" despite my preference for a green power status light that would indicate the outlet is live vs. this outlet's red light that only shows the trip if there's power.

The outlets are not any slimmer than the old Levitons I was trying to replace. Same overall dimensions. Also, as has been happening more often lately, Item received in poor condition. Not new.

I had bad luck with other Legrand devices, but the GFCI outlets just work. Also they do not have extra bright green/yellow lights or red buttons or buttons that are really hard to press and they look great, 5 stars.
