radiant self-test GFCI outlets conduct an automatic test every three seconds, ensuring they are always ready to protect. If the device fails the test, the indicator light flashes to signal that the GFCI should be replaced. With Legrand's proven SafeLock Protection feature, if critical components are damaged and protection is lost, power to the receptacle is disconnected. Its feed-thru wiring configuration allows the GFCI to protect downstream receptacles and it prevents line-load reversal mis-wire, so no power goes to the face or downstream receptacles if wired incorrectly. Back and side wire terminals offer installation flexibility.

The light works fine, it turns on in darkness or moderate shadow. The install was ok, I backed out one of the screws all the way and it was a massive pain to get it back in. There doesn't appear to be a crimp on the screws to let you know you're almost all the way out.Either way it works fine, trips ok, passes the GFCI tester I have.

This is a high quality GFCI plug with a small but bright night light built in. I have used this product throughout my house for areas where ambient lighting at night is useful.

My old bathroom outlet (30 years) finally died and I had to replace it. I always used a night lite so I had only one usable outlet unless i removed the light. This outlet has built in light so I don't have to block one of the outlets. Light is small but bright enough at night. Easy to install. Simplified wire attaching, just strip and slide in the hole and tighten the screw. Reduced depth makes it fit in tight places. Quality materials and well built.

Love the nightlight function. Put one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. Now when I get up in the middle of the night to get water or use the restroom, I can do so without having to turn on a big light and wake up.

I was replacing the GFCI in my spare bathroom anyway and was excited to get one with a nightlight. The only issue I have with the new outlet is that they light is very bright and I don't know anyway to adjust that brightness; in fairness, the outlet is set right out eye level, so for most people, this won't be an issue, but for me, it's just a wee bit too bright. I still think its a great outlet and would nonetheless recommend.

I had my husband install these in different locations within the house. I usually get up early while my husband is still asleep and don't want to turn on lights that might wake him. These have been very helpful lighting up the area as I make my way down the stairs and into the kitchen.....like I said he's installed several. As you age your eyes aren't a good as they use to be and having these located in different areas ....bathrooms, hallways and kitchen has helped with safety concerns of falling down the stairs or tripping over the dogs little balls ...lol those are booby traps! Happy with our pruchase!

I installed these in out home's 3 bathrooms. All work great! They also look much more clean than all other GFCI receptacles.The night light is fantastic, yet not too bright. The photoeye sensor works great and is quite sensitive.I would highly recommend these!

The 3-pack of GFIs was reasonably priced and appears to be of good quality. The darkness attivated nigh light is a great feature and provides some illumination to help you navigate to the light switch.

This is my second generation of these lights. I had a couple fail on the previous generation, but that was after 8 years. I was happy with that lifetime on a fairly new technology. I expect this one to last longer. The technology all works great and the light is just enough to see in the dark. Some don't like the more blue light as it is more likely to stimulate yours eyes in the middle.of the night, but I think it makes it look cleaner and more modern. Plus there is not an overpowering amount of light. I would not put this in place where you have direct line of sight from your bed, bit other than that, I would recommend everywhere.

All the GFCI on Amazon were pretty expensive... at least the name brand anyways.Plenty of people have said the cheaper brands like BESTEK aren't that good with the round LED on the GFCI, so I decided to stay away from those.Home Depot had a 2 pack of Leviton GFCI outlets for $40 and night light versions for over $40 a pair.This one on Amazon has GFCI and a night light too for $20 a piece. Much better deal than Home Depot.Other Amazon GFCI ones with a nightlight go for over $20 a piece.This is the best deal.The GFCI works fine. The night light is bright enough for what it is.

I purchased 3 and have only installed one so far. Installation went smoothly and love the result! I installed this in the bedroom and it provides just enough light. The next 2 will be used in bathrooms!
