Works like a champ. Mine required 3/8" ID (1/2" OD). Made in Canada! Very nice product that makes transferring your brew easy.

This is my weekly workhorse.If your looking for an auto siphon, use this one! Cheap, but well constructed. The valve at the bottom is fairly liquid tight so it helps when you pull it out to keep it clean. the seal is good and tight and keeps a solid flow. Not much to complain about here.I do recommend using a zip tie or a pipe clamp to hold the hose on, as the top of the tube is not tapered out to hold the hose

A great siphon for homebrewing. As long as you hold it above the lees it will siphon off a 5 gallon carboy in a matter or minutes while leaving all the lees. Easy to use (you just have to pump it once or twice as long as your filling carboy is lower than the emptying one). I will say to be careful with the bend in the inner tube, I bought this because I broke my original one at the bend. It's not fragile I was just too rough with it.

I love my Auto-Siphon! It has made my life infinitely more easy. I use it for all my racking of wine. Doesn't matter if I go from tuff tank to tuff tank or tuff tank to carboy or carboy to tuff tank or to fermenting bucket. No matter the combo, it works like a dream! Easy to use and a great price. What more can this budding wine maker ask for?

You can't get much easier a tool for starting the siphon when racking a beverage. The only issue I found, more like discovered one day, was that you need to remove the inner pump completely and clean the rubber edging well. The first couple of times using this I didn't know about stuff seeping past the seal and found a bit of moldy crud on it that could definitely have affected the wine if gone unchecked. Taking the whole thing apart after using it was also much easier to clean than attempting to just keep pumping soapy water through the siphon mechanism.

Piece of junk! Could not get a seal and I tried putting sanitized water on the inside of the siphon, still to no avail. I had to pump and pump every drop I wanted siphoned, which led to lots of bubbles in my wine. Dint buy this get 1/2 inch auto siphon works like a charm

This is a must have item for any brewer/vinter comes with the anti-sediment tip to limit getting all the nasty stuff at the bottom so less racking is needed to clear wines don't forget to get around 6 feet or so of vinyl tube for the tip because one is not included, but is needed to create the siphon effect.all and all GREAT GREAT item makes moving liquids a breezealso if you want to fill bottles easy and without a mess get the spring loaded bottle filler and your all set.

it works great but isn't what I needed; too long and picks up sediment from bottom. Am looking for ways to better utilize its benefits
